Alex looks down at the wooden steps up to the grand entrance. She takes a deep breath and starts to climb. When she reaches the front door she pauses. A scream echos through the mansion. Alez opens the door and steps in. She closes her eyes as a powerful wind surrounds her.

Vale headed up to the house slowly, the place had so many spare rooms he had made use of one. He kept out of the way of whoever else might be there perhaps, as far as he knew nobody realised he had taken up lodgings there. He climbed through a window via one of the trees and headed along the landing. The door was open and a girl was standing there. He backflipped of the stairs and landed a few feet from the girl.

Great, just what I needed, Shinotenshi thought as she saw even more people go in. She made sure that her scythe was carefully secured to her back and walked up to the house. Just before she entered the house, Amenti ran in between Shinotenshi's legs and mewed. Shinotenshi rubbed Amenti's head and said "I know this is going to be a bit of a difficult job because of how many people are here while we're doing this, but don't worry! As long as the guy, you know, didn't turn into some evil spirit, a demon, zombie, or something, this mission should go smoothly." Then she opened the door. Not even twenty minutes into the mission and Shinotenshi already had a bad feeling about it.

Diana stepped from the shadows, hands up in a joking way. "It wasn't me, so don't get any ideas." she smiled at Dead. "Why are you here?" Diana asked, cocking her head to the side.

Alex closed her eyes as the wind surrounded her. Her hair was blowing in all directions, and she smiled eagerly as the wind slowed. She felt a sudden chill run down her spine as she let the smile grow.

She heard pacing footsteps and frose. She looked down as a foggy mist appeared at her feet. Alex bent down slowly and cupped her hands. She picked up some of the mist in her hands and inhailed it. She became stronger. All of the strength from the lost bodies were collected here occationally. Here, Alex absorbed it. She would need it at a later date. She just ignored the footsteps of her other "roomates".

Alex walked out of the misty room, forgetting about the others in the mansion. She saw Diana and Dead from afar, and sprinted behind an old staircase not to be seen. She listened in and heard the "I need to get used to my arm again" part. She was puzzled, but tried to listen in to figure out what that meant. In that process, Diana spotted her.
"What are you doing here?" She ran over to Alex.
"I...I'm here for a research paper... I need to write on soul collection..." Alex shyly smiled, but Diana seemed to be buying it.
"For what class?" Alex froze.
"It's extra credit,"
"But what class? Magic? Beings?" Alex could tell that Diana was getting impatiant.
"Magic, I have a high C, I would at least like to bring it up to a solid B," Alex tried to look as honest as possible.

Diana saw the girl, but made no move to catch her. She figured she had her own reasons to be here. Then she turned her attention back to Alex. "So what have you written so far?" she asked, eying Alex suspiciously. "I could tutor you if you want." Diana offered with a smile. "Mind if I tag along with you?" she asked. Diana wasn't ready to take no for answer, either.

"Um, I'd rather not die..." Diana said, looking around the house. "And, how do you know it was a human?" she asked, then she focused on Alex. "So how many points is this paper worth?" Diana smiled.
