So those who have seen it, what did you think? Personally I love that Lea Salonga, who played Epinone at the 10th anniversary got to do Fantine for this one, I absolutely LOVE her voice.
I Dreamed A Dream and think she certainly held up to Patti Lupone who was the original (and also the original Evita).
I loved the man playing Javert in this. Norm Lewis got it SPOT ON.
StarsAnd Alfie Boe, who was playing Valjean had some rather large shoes to fill, but I think he did it very well.
Bring Him HomeOther honorable mentions, Nick Jonas did a very good job (despite many commenters hating on him) as doing Marius. Quite frankly Marius is a whiner anyways, he actually was one of the few doing the part that I liked. He certainly hit

(sorry, couldn't find a video in good sound without those bubbles). Epinone's actress was too nasally until the Finale, but I loved the actress who played Cosette.
The greatest part possibly was the Encore, where they brought out the original 1985 cast.
One Day More was performed with that cast, the current cast, and the current touring cast.
So all and all, I was pretty happy. And made even happier when I found out that it's going to be in Atlanta at the Fabulous Fox next April and Hubby is now planning for us to go.
