As this is a multiplatform game, I decided it would be best put in the main forum. Now, you might look at the thread name and wonder if that's a typo. Well, it's not.
Okay, well, first off, who's ever played Oblivion on 100% Difficulty? If you have, I am sorry, I share your pain. I started as a mage. I can say for a fact that I saved after every single battle in that tutorial. Anyways, on to the point.
Even if you haven't played on hard, then I would like to present to you a way to make it much more fun, but also much more annoying and hard at the same time. I shall start by presenting a set of rules.
1. 100% Difficulty is a must.
2. NO FAST TRAVELING. Yup. None of it.
3. No waiting. At all. Sorry folks.
4. You have to try to sleep every night. If your character stays up for 30 hours, when you sleep, it will be a long one.
5. For you PC gamers, no console!
Yes, this presents a challenge of perseverance. If you can't stand hard mode, I understand. It angers me too.
Anyways, it seems extremely annoying which is why I only do at home alone or late at night. Why? Because I like to roleplay. I will literally talk to myself when I play, as if they were thoughts in my character's head.
So why am I telling you all of this? Because it can be really fun! It's a great test of perseverance and skill at the game! (Especially if you are an archer.) I am posting this to hear opinions, and to recommend trying it before Skyrim comes out and by telling me how it goes!
P.S. If I were you, I'd pay the highwaymen.
