Riku waited outside the building. He sat in one of the chairs, reading a book. He wondered what the slave he purchased would be like. He glanced up occasionally to see if they had arrived.

Riku looked up and saw Selena as she was dropped off. He got up and walked over to her. "Your Selena, yes? My name is Riku. Your going to be staying with me for now. Common, I'll show you where to stay." He lead her inside and to his suite. He showed her around, hoping she could become comfortable here. "Oh, and one more thing, if you need to, you can always ask me questions. If there's anything you want, let me know." He noticed that her wings were bound tightly to her. "Hold on a sec." He went behind her and removed the bindings on her wings so she could move them freely. "There. I'm gonna start dinner, ddo you want anything in particular?"

"I guess I'll surprise you then." He went into the kitchen and started cooking. He pulled out a recepie from a box and began following it. It was something his mother used to make when he was younger and he had always enjoyed it.

Riku went out to check on Selena while he was waiting for his dish to bake. He saw her sitting on the floor, looking so lost and almost laughed. He went over to her. "So your just gonna sit on the floor? Why not on a chair, or the sofa? I guess it's fine, but I wouldn't have expected you to do that." The timer rang and he ran back to pull the food out of the oven. He then set about preparing some vegetables and warming up some biscuits.

Finnally, the meal was done. Riku brought all the food to the counter and set it out. There were biscuits, broccoli, cauliflower, and steak. He pulled out plates and silverware for them and set that out too. He went back to the living room and saw her standing up now. "Food is ready, if your hungry. You can have it whenever you want." Riku went back and filled his plate and went to the dinning room to eat.

Riku saw her staring at the food, almost as if she didn't know what to do with it. He chuckled to himself and walked over to her. "This is what I've made. If you want something else, then I can make it for you. Just take anything there on the counter. Drinks are in the fridge if you want one." He was a bit puzzled by her behavior. But then she was a slave, he supposed some of her previous masters must have beaten obedience into her. If that was the case, he would have to help her express herself again. He wanted a companion, not a blindly obedient, uncaring servant. "If you want, you can sit with me, or in the living room. If you eat there, though, just make sure you don't spill something. It might take a while to clean up." He smiled at her, hoping he could help her start making her own choices again.

Riku went back to the dinning room and beckoned her over. He wanted to get to know her. He figured the best way to help her open up was to start with a simple talk. The more he knew about her, the easier it would be.
