So while I think of ways to clean up the forums I'll need people to come up with some new artwork for the banner and front page. Of course this can also be something of a contest, winner gets gold and credit on the page. Ect. Ect.

I believe that the actions you are considering and have taken might be too drastic. While I agree that removing users who have neither posts nor interests to remain in the guild will benefit it, absences are to be expected with schoolwork and bustling lives; sometimes unexpected events happen in which the user can not "go online" to even post their circumstances.
It seems promoting the guild through signatures, banners, and events seem to be the only way to revive this guild at the moment, unfortunately, as the zOMG community has indeed dramatically dropped.
Though I have not been on Gaia in three years, I do care about this guild enough to voice my opinion on this drastic overhaul.

While I do hear you, school work is not a great excuse at this point, right now we face to many inactive members, who on joining have no contributed anything to the guild. I've looked at the members, and you can see that if you have time to request to join a guild and say you are on everyday, that you should be able to show a little activity. And promoting is kinda the least of our worries at this point since we haven't had anything going on. And true about the zOMG! Especially since it's at such a drop. Also this is what I wanna see, opinions, I'm not trying to shoot anyone down I hope you know also.
