Ah, do you know what i am? He said, his black tail shooing floating beneath the water. Minnows kept nibbling on his fin.

"I'm Rian." He produced a cold webbed hand from the darkness of the water.
" And to be a total showoff, i am going to show you a trick."
He Reached underwater and pulled a large orb of water with a small minnow swimming around in it.

"why thank you." He launched himself out of the water, and sat next to her, his tail still drifting half in the water. He glanced over." So how did it happen?"

" Oh..." He frowned. " I drowned when my brother and i were swimming in a river. I hit my head on rock. I was brought back by a shadow mage who saw a dead body in the river. When i came back i tried finding my parents, but they shunned me."

"Yeah." The tip of his fin sent ripples flying out to the corners of the water. " How old are you?"

"Ah, i'm about 256" He smirked back.
