[[Since we were derailed in the last one, I figured we start anew. Frankly I'm at a loss for a starting post, so whoever feels like getting this party going, go ahead!]]

Dogs, by nature, are exploratory creatures. They'll go just about anywhere they please, so long as nobody yells at them or they don't get called by their masters. Rome, being a dog, was one such adventurous beast. That and he learned that the man sniper, partner to the loud lady sniper, gave out free food.

So Rome had trotted all the way over to RED base, and had gone in through the screen door that led to the kitchen. After finding nothing of interest there, he sniffed around until he heard talking. Always a plus, Rome followed the voices to a room where the spotty scout from last night and his baby cat were, as well as the fire lady with the tattoos. He stood at the door until the spotty-faced scout noticed him.

"Hey, isn't that Levi's dog?" Jeff said, sitting up. Max stretched, and mewled at the dog, who wiggled his tail. "What are you doing over here?"
The dog yawned and stretched, before trotting into the room and laying his head on Jeff's leg. "....You know, you might get in trouble if the others find you." Rome seemed not to really care, and licked his nose. Jeff patted the dog's head and scooped up Max, before starting to head toward the kitchen. "C'mon, Rome. I wonder if anyone's making lunch yet." The scout, the dog, and the kitten made their way back to the kitchen. It was still empty. "Guess I'm the one making Lunch." He sighed, scratching the back of his head. He sat Max down on the floor. "Watch him, okay?" The dog huffed his assent and laid down under the table.

Kitty and Jeff lazed about. It was the heat of the day, and if they weren’t working, it just seemed to crazy to do anything. Kitty was reading one of Rhys’ books. He had a decent taste in reading. A furry, wet snout huffing about opened the door. She gave a small snort of laughter when Rome came a-wandering in. Rome only came about if it involved Levi, a Spy, or Food. “Hello there, Rome.” Henri was in his cave, brooding, as far as she knew, and Rhys and Kar were still in town picking some things up. And Levi was not here, so it was safe to say he wanted a treat. “Well, just this one time, you…” She put her book down and followed Jeff. “Kar and Rhys should be back soon, if there aren’t any distractions. Hopefully Rhys has a mind not to let her know there’s a fair going on in Town.”

Of course, she wanted to go to. But somehow she didn’t see the boss lady being to thrilled about that.

Kitty blinked at the girl, and went to investigate the fridge. "As long as it wasn't one of the doc's 'pets', I don't mind." Nik didn't seem the type to do that, but she heard stories about they hybrids from Kar way back when...they sounded cool in theory, but she wasn't sure about seeing one in person. And this was a woman who enjoyed seeing pickled fetuses in jars and gaffs. She looked back to Jeff. "Looks like there's something left."

He stood, motionless, in one of the showers in the men's washrooms as the tepid water continually streamed against his bare flesh. His bright red hair hung in a dripping wet stripe across the center of his otherwise shaved head, not yet having received the morning's tease and hair spray treatment. His eyes were fixed in a blank, almost glazed, stare at the drab off-white walls of the shower stall. He reached over with one hand and turned off the faucet, but did not leave the shower immediately. He stood there for a few moments under the dripping showerhead before emerging, grabbing hold of a pair of threadbare, hole-filled jeans he had slung over another shower stall. He slid on the jeans and the boots he laid beneath them, not even bothering with a shirt. The Pyro and the two Scouts would see the young man with an odd-looking, sideswept coif of wet hair hanging in his face and no shirt lumbering downstairs. His arms were pockmarked with the scars of sores long since healed. Several tattoos could be seen on his back, arms and shoulders, most with a reference of some kind to fire.

Over the sounds of slight humming from the microwave and a pair of boots making their way down the stairs, angered yelling could be heard down the hall, though no words were very discernible. The furious shouts soon reached a crescendo shortly before a very specific black-haired Scout was thrown into the room by an intense uppercut to her jaw from a very specific black-haired Pyro.
"Jay-sus effin' christ, man! I didn't even do anythin' to ya!" Eva cried, wincing and rubbing at her complaining jaw as she slowly pried herself off the hard floor only to launch back at her brother, who had stormed unto the room moments before.
"'Didn't do anythin' ta me?'" Alex hissed, throwing his arms up in the air. "Ya woke me up with a goddamn airhorn!" He managed to spit out the last few words before he was tackled to the ground by a flying Scout, who began punching him right back. The two continued vilely cursing at each other and roughhousing, knocking over chairs and slamming into walls.

Ludovique had been in his quarters for five hours now. The second they dropped him off he ran there, dashing madly about to avoid any and all contact with anything or anyone. His stomach rumbled loudly, reverberating through his twiggy torso. No, I can't go get somezhing to eat, he thought, shaking his head sadly. Zhere's bound to be people zhere. The Spy wanted to go, but no, he couldn't. A moment later however, he glanced at the gear he was given before he was deposited at the base. Of course, his cloak! It wouldn't conceal him completely from his own teammates, but it would help. Ludovique activated it and crept through the halls, having absolutely not even the foggiest idea where the kitchen was and as thus, wandered aimlessly in hopes that he would find it eventually.

The pair's ruthlessness slowly began to subside as their bruises grew, their anger dissipating quickly until they were tussling like kittens on the floor. The moment Hisae's voice waveringly rose over their jovial row, however, the two froze immediately out of habit. Alex had a fistful of his sister's hair, successfully pinning her to the floor; Eva's leg was cocked for a crotch shot and they both looked ready to nearly kill each other.  At first glance it looked like they'd both gotten hit by a car, every visible inch of skin had nasty bruises forming, they both had back eyes and fat, split lips even though the two had only been fighting for no more than a few minutes. The Pyro and Scout each disentangled themselves from the other and stood up.
"Uh, kinda. Best get used ta it." Eva laughed and spat a gob of blood into the nearby sink, making sure to rinse it with water afterwards while gently prodding at her split lip. Alex nodded and shrugged, agreeing with her before cringing when his shoulder protested to being moved.
"It's kind of a daily occurrence, y'know? We usually don't break anythin' too bad." the Pyro added with a nervous chuckle as a newly-splintered low cabinet caught his eye.

"Hullo you two. Watch out for Rome." She said, looking around for the dog, then turning around to see the two all beat up. "Ooch. Ya might wanna go see Nik after this." Knowing the doctor, he mostly remained detached from the rest of the base affair, preferring his study. A bit on the anti-social side, but a decent doctor. "I think I saw Maddie about earlier today, so I know they're on site."
