I thought someone here might get a kick out of this. I know I did.
A while back I was part of a role play group, and I need to stress that the leader of which was a complete know it all. Every OOC conversation had a point where the leader would jump in and tell someone they were wrong, or suddenly start spouting off an annoying amount of knowledge about whatever, and totally kill the conversation. Even in matters of opinion, the leader was always right. For this reason, I left.
One day, long after I had left the group, the leader instant messaged me. The conversation went like this:
Leader: Aren't you Wiccan?
Me: No, I'm Eclectic Pagan
Leader: Well, same thing, anyways....
Whatever came after that didn't really matter because I was doing this at my desk:
YES! YES! HOLY FREAKING GOD YES! OH I GOT YOU! I GOT YOU! YOU CANNOT DENY THAT I GOT YOU! YOU KNOW EVERYTHING? EVERYTHING? OH NO, BECAUSE I GOT YOU AND YOU DO NOT!

I explained as best I could, but this person HAS to be right no matter what. So there was a nice, patronizing counter argument about how I misunderstood the meaning of what they said, that paganism of any sort is still paganism, so they were one in the same, and essentially I was wrong in some way.
