So I moved into a new house in August and it didn't have an oven! Which really sucked for an aspiring pastry chef like me. For some reason my family never got around to getting one until Saturday! I baked immediately the next day. I decided to make honey buns!!! My first time making bread. c:
I first made the dough with a bit of honey and let it rise for two hours after kneading it. Then I punched it down and made them into the 12 equal balls and put them into a round cake pan and let it rise for another twenty minutes. I made a mixture of honey and butter and brushed it over the dough balls. Then I baked it!
 In the oven. c:
Finished product! It kind of came out a bit dark since I'm not really used to my new oven. It's supposed to cook 30% faster! The outside was a bit crispy (wanted it softer but oh well, it was my first time.) but the inside's all fluffy:
The honey-butter mixture slid to the bottom and made it all sticky and sweet! Best part. c:

This looks wonderful, thanks for sharing! The smell of fresh baked anything is one of my favorite smells in the world heart Did you just use a regular roll recipe and add honey?

Thanks! And I agree. c: love the smell of bread. I got the recipe off a webbie called foodgawker. I always save recipes from there. I'm not creative enough to modify a recipes just yet. xD I recommend the website though, it's really great.
