Mt. Coronet
DESCRIPTION -
Mt. Coronet is, arguably, the highest known point in the Sinnoh region. With some of its higher peaks being covered in snow, the mountain serves as a sort of 'dividing line', cutting the region in half. Through a series of man-made caves - said caves becoming more rugged as one climbs higher up -, Mt. Coronet connects the Cities of Oreburgh, Eterna, Hearthome, Celestic, and Snowpoint with its rocky(at best) terrain. One would do good to have their wits about them as they navigate the mountain.
LOCATION -
Mt. Coronet is located in central Sinnoh, with the northern points being covered in a thick blanket of snow.
PEOPLE -
A few Trainers are scattered about the mountain, serving as a test - of sorts - to those who dare to reach the summit.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
The nefarious group, Team Galactic, is rumored to have had dealings here in the past. What they were after - or what they were doing, for that matter - is best left to the imagination.
MYTH/LORE -
According to legend, Mt. Coronet is where the Sinnoh region began. Arceus - the Alpha Pokemon, which some consider to be a God - created Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina at the Spear Pillar, as well as the Adamant, Lustrous, and Griseous Orbs, then fell into an unending sleep on the highest point of the mountain.
