Eterna Forest
DESCRIPTION -
Similar to Viridian Forest in the Kanto region, Sinnoh's Eterna Forest earned its nickname from the closest neighboring populace, Eterna City. The entirety of the Forest is encased in a strange, chilled air...the source of the air would probably be the Old Chateau, a run-down mansion deep within the Forest's depths. The thick stands of trees littered throughout have turned Eterna Forest into a maze of sorts, over the years. Home to many Bug- and Grass-type pokemon, the Forest has one other notable aspect: a strange, moss-covered rock, that is said to tie in with a certain pokemon's evolution...
LOCATION -
Eterna Forest is located just west of Eterna City, in central-western Sinnoh.
PEOPLE -
Cheryl, a young woman who is known for using pokemon with a high HP stat, is believed to be in the midst of training here. She's a kind individual, who would be glad to heal your pokemon as you make your way through the Forest. Also, a group of Picnickers and Bug Catchers are known to talk quite amiably about the simple scenery about them.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Two notable places, really. First is the moss-covered rock in the western end of the Forest. If you have an Eevee with you when you approach this rock, it may just evolve into Leafeon. The second area is the Old Chateau, which has a bit of lore behind it...
MYTH/LORE -
The Old Chateau is the only known place to capture the little Plasma Pokemon, Rotom. It's said to be quite the mischief-maker, making its home on one of the Chateau's old televisions. The Old Chateau is also the source of the delicious delicacy known as Old Gateau.
