Sunyshore City
DESCRIPTION -
Sunyshore City is known as a major port town and the gateway to the Sinnoh Pokemon League. It is situated on a narrow spit of land bordered by the sea and the mountains. To make up for the lack of space, the city built solar panels to use for power, as well as provide suspended roads for people to get around the city on. This city has a Poke Center and Poke Mart, much like most other cities, and a Pokemon Gym, which is typically the last Gym that trainers face before heading off to the Pokemon League.
LOCATION -
Sunyshore City is located in the far east coast of Sinnoh. The only route from the rest of the region to this city is Route 222, but people can surf along Route 223 to reach the Pokemon League.
PEOPLE -
The people here are a fairly decent bunch. They live a typically easy life, thanks to the use of the solar panels that line the city. They tend to go into a panic, however, if there is a blackout for any reason. There is a scientist from The Poketch Company that lives here, whom was given the okay by the Company to develop and give away different applications for the Poketch.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Poke Center and Poke Mart: - As with most of Sinnoh's cities, Sunyshore features the usual Poke Center/Mart combination that so many trainers are thankful to see.
Pokemon Gym: - The Sunyshore Gym is the official gym of Sunyshore City, and is the final gym encountered by trainers before heading for the Pokemon League. The Gym Leader is ____, who specializes in the ____-type of Pokemon. Those that defeat him/her earn the ____ Badge.
Sunyshore Market: - Located in the center of Sunyshore City, just north of the Poke Mart, it is one of the largest retailers of Pokeball seals in the world. Trainers can come here to browse through a massive selection of seals, with which they can adorn their Pokeballs and make them even more unique.
Vista Lighthouse: - Located on the far southeastern corner of Sunyshore City, the bright beacon of the lighthouse illuminates the entire Sinnoh region. Consisting of a single elevator and an observation deck, one can use the binoculars on the top level to view the Pokemon League building from across Route 223.
Pokemon Rock: - Pokemon Rock is a giant rock formation found on the east side of the city. Pokemon Rock is one of the city's famous landmarks, famous for its strange shape that resembles a Munchlax standing in the bay, with the water covering its feet.
MYTH/LORE - The infamous Cyrus, the former leader of Team Galactic, was born here. The city is also where Gym Leaders from other regions come to visit, mostly to gaze upon the ocean. Sunyshore City is also proud to be completely zero-emissions, keeping the air fresh and clean for its inhabitants.
