DESCRIPTION -
Covered in a thick blanket of snow, Snowpoint City is in a practically isolated part of northern Sinnoh. Despite being well away from the other Cities in the region - this would mostly be due to Mt. Coronet, which connects Snowpoint to the rest of the region via Routes 216 and 217 -, the people here are rather warm and friendly towards visitors, even going so far as to offer them a warm drink upon arrival. Snowpoint City houses the seventh Gym in the Sinnoh League, along with the mysterious Snowpoint Temple, and the famed O'Donnell Keep.

LOCATION -
Snowpoint City is located in northern Sinnoh, tied with the Flower Paradise as the region's northern-most point.

PEOPLE -
The people here in Snowpoint have adapted to a hardy lifestyle, mostly due to the year-long cold temperatures. Despite this, however, the City natives are a friendly and out-going bunch, ready and willing to help those in need.

RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Snowpoint City Gym - Snowpoint City houses the seventh known Gym in the Sinnoh region. This one is headed by a spunky young girl named Candice, and she specializes in Ice-type pokemon. She awards the Icicle Badge to the Trainers that are lucky enough to best her in battle.

Move Tutor - This chilly northern City is home to one of Sinnoh's three Move Tutors, the one here specializing in mostly-status moves.

O'Donnell Keep - Regent Theodore 'Teddy' O'Donnell, head of the prestigious O'Donnell family, was born and raised here in Snowpoint, in his family's Keep(tucked into a rather secluded area of the City). Rumor has it that he serves as a member of the Elite Four in Johto...as a Fire-type Specialist?

Stark Island ferry - Should you be lucky enough to best the Sinnoh League, a ferry from Snowpoint will take you to the 'legendary' Stark Island, which has been widely regarded as one of the best places for a Trainer to prove their mettle. Will you have what it takes to be the best?

MYTH/LORE -

Myths and lore run rampant here in Snowpoint, two of the most prominent being the Snowpoint Temple and Lake Acuity. The Temple is home to the Colossal Pokemon, Regigagas; according to legend, Regigigas is said to be the master of the Hoenn region's Regi Trio(Regice, Regirock, and Registeel). The three golems were sealed away in Hoenn, in order to make sure that he would never awaken...or so the legend goes~.

Not to be out-done, nearby Lake Acuity is the home to another Sinnoh legendary. In this case, the Lake serves as the home of the Knowledge Pokemon, Uxie. Uxie is a member of the Lake Trio, along with its brethren, Mesprit and Azelf. These three are rumored to keep the human/pokemon world in balance with their formidable Psychic prowess.
