Solaceon Town
DESCRIPTION -
Solaceon Town is a temperate town where people and Pokemon can relax. According to the town's locals, there was once nothing there but a road, but people and Pokemon gathered and a town formed. Nowadays, people can find quite a few things here in regards to restocking their supply, healing or raising their Pokemon, or simply adventuring into a dark cave (and who doesn't like doing that?). All in all, the town is a relaxed and casual place for people and Pokemon to visit or live in.
LOCATION -
Solaceon Town is located in central Sinnoh. There are two routes that branch out from the town, being Route 209 in the south and Route 210 in the north.
PEOPLE -
The town is mostly populated by ranchers, cowgirls and the like, as there were big Pokemon ranches around the town in the past. These two facts give the town a "farming community" feel, but the people here are just as pleasant as anywhere. There is also a woman in town who will offer youngsters a Seal Case, for holding Pokeball Seals, if that is what they're looking for.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Poke Center and Poke Mart: - As with many other cities and towns in the Sinnoh region, Solaceon has the Pokemon Center/Mart combo that aides trainers by providing them with the normal useful services and items.
Pokemon Day Care: - It is in Solaceon Town where trainers can drop off their beloved Pokemon to be raised under the loving and watchful eyes of the Daycare Couple. The quaint village locale is perfect for young Pokemon to frolic around and have fun while their trainers are away.
Pokemon New Press: - Despite being run by only two people in a tiny house, the Pokemon News Press is Sinnoh's number one selling newspaper, providing every city in the region with up-to-date information and exciting articles.
Solaceon Ruins: - Navigating through the trove of trees on the eastern side of town will lead you to Solaceon Ruins, a mysterious cave that seems like a vast maze inside. No one is quite sure, but some speculate that these ruins are related to the Ruins of Alph in the Johto region.
Lost Tower: - Located on Route 209, just south of Solaceon, Lost Tower is the final resting place for deceased Pokemon, and people come from all over to pay their respect to their lost companions. It is said that many Ghost-type Pokemon reside here, due to their usual grim nature.
Hallowed Tower: - Also located on Route 209, further south than the Lost Tower, is an unusual crumbling tower set by a stream. It has a large opening on the top, as if something were to fit into like a key...
MYTH/LORE - There are rumors going on about an "odd keystone" that is said to react to the crumbling tower south of the town. There are also a number of Unown that can be found in Solaceon Ruins, leading some to believe that the cave is related to the Ruins of Alph in Johto.
