Eterna City
DESCRIPTION -
Eterna City is one of the older cities in the Sinnoh region; looking around, one can easily see the signs of history. That isn't to say that people don't come here; oh no. From the Eterna City Gym and Rad Rickshaw's Cycle Shop, to the mysterious statue and one of two headquarters for the 'sinister' Team Galactic, Eterna has a number of attractions that have drawn in people from far and wide.
LOCATION -
Eterna City is located on the western side of Mt. Coronet, in central Sinnoh. There are three ways to get into the City: Route 205 to the west, Route 206 to the south, and Route 211 to the east.
PEOPLE -
The people here in Eterna are a friendly sort, always willing to lend a helping hand. Some of the older residents know a good bit about the history of the Sinnoh region, which may - or may not - involve the statue in the eastern part of the City.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Eterna Condominiums - The Condominiums building, located next to the PokeMart, is the home of Sinnoh's Name Rater; you may want to keep him in mind if you want to change a nickname that you've given to your pokemon.
Eterna City Gym - Eterna is the home of the second Gym in the Sinnoh League, headed by Gardenia, a Grass-type specialist. She will award the Forest Badge to those that best her in battle.
Glactic Eterna Building - One of the two Sinnoh headquarters for the sinister Team Galactic is located in the northern part of the City. While this one is relatively simple to get to - one has to Cut a tree blocking the path leading to the Building -, no one's really sure where Galactic's other Sinnoh-based headquarters is...
Herb Shop - If conventional medicines aren't your thing, then the Herb Shop here is perfect for you. This Shop is run by a charming woman, who sells effective - yet relatively inexpensive - herbal medicines for your pokemon.
Rad Rickshaw's Cycle Shop - Alas, the bikes here are a tad too expensive for the likes of freshly-starting Trainers. However, the owner of the Shop will gladly give you a free Bicycle once you rescue him from the Galactic Eterna Building.
MYTH/LORE -
In the eastern part of the City, there is a large statue of a legendary Dragon-type pokemon. Some say that the statue is of Dialga; others say that it's of Palkia. Regardless, the faded plate on the statue carries the blessing(s) of the legendary pokemon that's depicted...
