Since the rapid decrease in the American bison population, the Plain has become a poor hunting ground for these mighty herbivores, yet has allowed the deer herds to strengthen and spread over the lush landscape. Every now and then, a single bison or sometimes several traverse on the grasses of the Plain, but are rarely seen despite the vast openness of the area. The forest crawling up the mountain are the borders of the Forest & Lake where the wolves relax and feed.
This is one of the few locations in the Creek of Death which has been only lightly touched by Man, prodded and examined in some parts, but not wrecked. Humans are an infrequent, yet not impossible, discovery on the Green Plain and the forests beyond. What their purpose and goals are are completely unknown to the wolves.
