I have been on Everest. It was incredible. Let me take you through:
1.Amazing que. You go through the shops and everthing, including a single rider line. This leads to a basic station. Steam comes out of the train.
2.Enter. Lap bars allow max air time if you want it, and who wouldn't?
3.Start up. Go down a hill, up a small hill, then a brief scenary touch up. You see the helix.
4.Major hill. It's steep and fast. You go up, take a brief turn, then go up again. The fun is about to start.
5.What's this? The track ahead of you is out! Oh no, what will happen?! Backwards time. Down the hill, through what appears to be a helix, couple minor sections really fast(which is why I am vague). Sidenote-You can see tires while going up the hill, much like on the Hulk launch.
6.First Yeti appearance. You have stopped, the Yeti is seen in shadow portrait. If you look carefully, you will see the track switching. Here comes the drop.
7.Wow. Drop is fast. Entire ride is fast actually. Down, must be pulling as many g's as Rock'n Roller Coaster. Up a hill, through the mountain. All a bit of a blur, but I remember going through a helix slightly afterward. This ends going down a slight hill, going up close to the Yeti(very nice Yeti job on their part), and into the station. I didn't like the quick ending, which makes this slightly worse(hate to use that word here) than Splash Mountain, which is my all time favourite ride.
If you're wondering, I got on on Saturday the 28th due to passholder's preview. Waited in single rider line, got on in about 20 minutes. Got a pin and lanyard for the experiance, which was well worth any wait or crowd.
