████████████ :::::::::: ████████████ ...I hate you, all of you. "Ugh..." Jed breathed out after carrying his luggage to his dorm. His eyes peered around the room, already aggravated with the school. Now he has to share a dorm!? INSANITY! Jed sat on the couch, tired to do much of anything else. He couldn't think of anything else to do anyway. He couldn't destroy the property, because this school actually got him away from his damned home. He got out his electric violin instead, he set it up and played it loud. The playing was long, but the beats were fast. ████████████ :::::::::: ████████████

Drawn by the sound of the violin, Mel quickly singled out the room as she wandered through the dormitory. Her attention seized by the tone and beat of the music, the girl couldn't help but be drawn in, and before she knew it, she was opening the door. Yup, this definitely was the place the music was coming from. Somehow, she could sense the player's feelings through the music: longing, frustration...everything. She hid behind a wall, closing the door as quietly as she could, and continued to listen.

Taken by surprise, Mel swiftly turned to a defensive position with one hand on her pocket, where a switchblade lay hidden. "I heard music, so I decided to see where it was coming from," she replied defiantly. "Why? Got a problem?" Narrowing her eyes, Mel could clearly see the boy's. It was a lovely brownish red color, and soon a lightl blush was visible on her cheeks.

"I like you," He chuckled, "If you don't have a dorm, stay here if you'd like. I don't have any problem with you." He grinned. "But first, what's your name? I'm Jed." Mel's face turned a darker shade of red. That may be the first a boy had ever said that to her. "Th-Thanks. You seem interesting, too. I think I will stay here," she said, smiling. After all, this by seemed nice enough to cope with for the next year or so. "It's reassuring to know that some boys can deal with having a girl around. I'm Melanie Song, but you can call me Mel. Oh, and you don't have to worry about the bathroom. I don't take that long." With that, Mel left the room promptly, then came back with a large suitcase. She set it down near the couch, then gave Jed a whole-hearted hug. "Nice to meet you, Jed! Thanks again!"

"Glad you're---" She had hugged him. Jed stood motionless, and slowly rose his arms to pat her back. Well, HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. Dudes don't hug. At least this dude didn't. "Hah...No problem" He blushed and looked towards the couches. "Those couches are...uhh..can't remember the name, but if you pull it out, they go into a bed and jazz." Jed's voice was shaky, "So choose one," his voice became sharp once again. ████████████ :::::::::: ████████████

Aww. How cute. Jed was embarrassed. Mel knew that tone anywhere. "Well, Mister Jed, if you like girls so much, how come you get embarrassed when girls hug you? Or is it just me?" she asked, stepping back. She casually walked over to the couches, then picked the one facing the window. "I'll be taking this couch, if you don't mind."

Mel frowned. "So, we're gonna play games, huh? Sounds like fun!" she said with a smile. Despite her small stature, the teenage girl gathered up all the strength she had and tackled Jed. As they landed, the couch unfolded into a good-sized bed. This caused Mel to land on top of Jed. "Well, now. This is quite awkward," she mumbled, her face growing hot.

Jed grinned ; he pushed her on the floor - not too hard - and put his legs around her body, his face leaning close to hers. "Not as awkward as this." Mel smiled mischievously, disguising her embarrassment. She could clearly see Jed's eyes now as they bore into hers. Maybe moving into a dorm with a boy wasn't as bad as it seemed. Taking both her hands and placing them on Jed's chest, she slowly moved them down his body. Then she stopped and pushed the boy off her, rolling away before standing up again. "Listen, loverboy, you may be good with girls, but you won't get me that easily~!" she said, sitting down on the unfolded bed.
