The Legend of Zelda: Feudal Hyrule

This is actually gonna be my revised story that I already have put up on Gaia's fanfiction forum. It's a crossover between the anime/manga show called Inuyasha and of course The Legend of Zelda... with a twist. However this particular twist in the crossover is that the story isn't any part of the game series but instead the late eighties or early nineties cartoon series and comics which means a few things... Link's hair will be brown, Zelda will be rather prissy, the king of Hyrule is an idiot, Ganon is a cross between a pig and a warthog, and Link's horse is named Catherine, got all that? There will be a feedback section for any and all reviews.

Chapter 1: A New Arrival

In the magical land of Hyrule the wind echoes a legend. A legend which is known to all who reside in the land, the legend of... the Triforce. It is said when all three pieces of the Triforce come together than the maximum power will be shown. The triforce of wisdom is kept within princess Zelda's castle it's specific location is Link's tower... unfortunately Link also keeps all of his junk in the tower as well. The triforce of power which had been stolen by Ganon is kept in his base at death mountain. Very little is known where the exact location of the triforce of courage resides, some say it's with the goddesses, some say it never existed, and some say... that it resides inside a person. However on one particular seemingly fine morning all seemed peaceful in the land of Hyrule which it was, but underground was a different manner, and that was due to Ganon's minions screwing up yet another chance of obtaining the triforce of wisdom.

The Underworld

"YOU BUMBLERS, HOW COULD YOU LOSE LIKE THAT?"

"It not our fault Ganon... Link blasted us before we could grab it and... OW"

"OH SHUT UP... What must I do to get the Triforce of Wisdom?"

Ganon began to teleport himself around the room until he was in front of his throne to which he sat down. Next to his throne was the stolen triforce of power which gave him advice on what to do, unlike the triforce of wisodm which responded in riddles, the triforce of power's speech was more casual.

"Not what but whom is the answer to your question. There is one that can not only obtain the triforces but also use their powers with ease. That one is the one whom can help you but beware... She'll fight for your lies but beat you for the truth."

"So... my potential new ally is a female, is she? This will be very interesting but first I must find her."

"She'll find you instead of finding her all you have to do is open the entrance, she will soon appear in the forest, and make her way down here beware of the warning."

Meanwhile at Hyrule castle the hero Link was being observed by the fairy princess Sprite as he was gathering up what he needed, as he was planning on going fishing today, and would have to sneak out in order to do so.

"That should do it for a perfect day for fishing, hey Sprite are you coming or what?"

"... What? Oh sorry Link I'll come by later I promise."

"What's wrong? You seem distracted today."

"It's nothing but... I got this funny feeling in my head that's all, like something is gonna happen today."

"The double edge sword is both strong and deadly. Tell it truths and it stays loyal but tell it a lie... and it will turn on you"

"Huh? What could that mean Sprite?"

"I'm not exactly sure, think we should tell princess Zelda?"

"Let's not... at least just yet, I'd better get going."

Link quickly left the tower, making his way to the stables, and quickly mounted his horse named Catherine. He rode on towards the forest where one of his favorite fishing spots was located and at the same time in the forest a beam of light came down... to reveal a girl around the age of sixteen or seventeen. She groggily gotten up to walk and which she soon found herself underwater, before she could swim the water began to recede, and she found herself sitting on some steps that led downwards deep underground.

"Whoa... ugh... my head, where am I? Where do these steps go? The big question here is... up or down? Hm... downwards I go than."

The girl than slowly took one step at a time as she was still rather groggy but the more she descended the more her grogginess began to leave her, and finally she was at the very last step to which ahead of her was a bridge... not knowing that beyond it was a labyrinth filled with many( to her) strange creatures.

WOW... I can't believe how long it's been since I put up the very first chapter, mainly due to writer's block and lack of creative energy I haven't been able to update, and now that I have a spark of inspiration I'm able to put up the next chapter. Chapter 2: Tales and Plans

The underground labyrinth was incredibly large with maze-like tunnels as well to which the maiden found out as she continued to explore, while all the wondering where she was, and why was she transported here. Finally after what seemed to be an eternity, she found herself at an exit of some sort, and strangely enough gigantic statues of armored soldiers stood in two rows as though guarding the castle in front of her... wait a moment... a castle in the underground? There stood before her was a castle or at the very least an entrance to it, for it seemed like the entire castle was much higher, and little did she know how right she was. At the same time the 'statues' had turned their heads as they spied upon the young intruder, it would be far easier to kill the maiden but upon their lord's orders... they could do not but only spy. Feeling rather daring the girl crossed the bridge swiftly intending on finding out where she was and hopefully find a way back home. Upon entering the castle she found herself in yet another maze as stairs and doors went every which way that anyone can think about, of course it didn't help all that much as some of the doors opened to reveal moving skeletons and mummies, and in a second flat it became an all out race: The Maiden vs The Monsters... with the maiden winning but the monsters were slowly gaining. The chase continued until she made a turn to which there was a slightly opened door, instantly she ran to the room which was an weapon/armor storage room, and the moment she found a hiding spot the door slammed shut.

"By the stars I hope that nobody heard that... s**t they did, what to do?"

This time a bull dog like monster opened the door to see that some of the crates that were on a high shelf fallen down, lying behind some barrels through a tiny crack the girl saw the monster sniffing, and than saw the creature departed as it spoke that some crates fell off the shelf in the storage facility.

"Ow that was a close one... so this is the weapon room is it? I hope that they don't mind if I take a few of these for my own protection of course *giggle*".

Unbeknown that the lord of the castle was currently spying upon the girl, in fact he's been doing it since she arrived in the forest, and it was he alone whom opened up the entrance to the labyrinth. He the lord of the castle smiled that she had begun to fight back in fact her bravery and skill could even possibly rival Link's own. It was clear that the evil jar was filling up with his forces and decided enough was enough, with a snap of his fingers the maiden disappeared, and found herself in the throne room.

"Whoa... what a rush, where am I now?"

"Welcome young lady."

"Who are you and are you the master of this castle?"

"I am indeed the master of this palace and my name is Ganon, what's your name young lady?"

"Kagome and I suppose that you ordered your forces to attack me, is that correct?"

"They are supposed to keep all intruders out of the castle as per my orders... is something the matter?"

"Yeah there is... evil surrounds you like a blanket, are you aware of this?"

"Indeed it does for that is the spell's aura. You seem rather intelligent so I shall tell you a bit of history... you might wanna sit down since it's rather long."

Kagome sat down in such a way that she could easily ready an attack if need be and waited for the one called Ganon to begin the story of an historic event.

"As I have told you my name is Ganon and this land is called Hyrule... where I was once the king of this beautiful country but all that had changed. Under my rule the kingdom was a peaceful and prosperous one but all of that was usurped from me the day when we were invaded. Seeing how prosperous the kingdom was my people and I were attacked by an evil king named Harkinian, his prissy magic wielding daughter Zelda, and the princess's bodyguard Link. It wasn't only Hyrule that they wanted but it's treasure known as the Triforce, the Triforce is made up of three magic triangles of Wisdom, Power, and Courage... but no one knows where the triforce of courage is to this day. I was only able to grab the Triforce of power when we fled but it wasn't enough for the invaders, the princess cast an evil spell which turned myself and my people into monsters, and so we have constantly tried to enter Hyrule in order to find a way to remove the spell. Now that you know... do you have any questions?"

"Just one question in total... what happened to the triforce of wisdom?"

"The invaders have depended on it's power in order to rule Hyrule, without it than they are helpless, or rather the king is since he's a coward and rather stupid as well."

"Basically the king is a puppet monarch and the real evil one is this princess Zelda and her bodyguard. I may not know what's going on entirely but I have to say this... I'm looking for a way home and by working together we might just accomplish our goals."

"I have a plan that might just work but it will involve your cooperation entirely, I have studied the strengths and weaknesses of the invaders, and exploiting their weaknesses is our very best bet currently. Princess Zelda is a rather magic adept wielder but she trusts anyone who impresses her far too easily, Harkinian is an idiot but does show some insight, and as for Link whom is a skilled swordsman..."

"What's the plan Ganon?"

"It involves my minions attacking you, Link's weakness is beautiful girls, and if he sees you getting attacked... he'll surely ride to your rescue. However you must be quite wounded in order to get inside the castle, from there you shall enter Link's room, grab the Triforce from it's stand, and make your way to one of the entrances. Do you understand the plan Kagome?"

"I understand it perfectly but... how will I find an entrance to the underworld?"

"*Snaps fingers* Take this map of Hyrule it shows all the entrances to the underworld and it's dungeons."

"Thanks for the map Ganon now all we have to do is find Link and put the plan into action."

*Chatter chatter chatter*

"I see... we're in luck my spy informed me that he's close from the entrance that you just used."

"Perfect, I'll just be on my way, and your forces better not screw up."
