 A forest with many trees. Little cabins show up once you look closely. About fifty or them are here. These little cabins house one shapeshifter and one human. Guards are always near by, patrolling the area so nobody from the outside snoops around our camp. You are aloud to leave but are to be back by a curfew and if not they you will be hunted down and brought back.  There is a large building where you must attend school and are expected grades to be high. Your school starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm. Then after 5 you are aloud to enter the other side of the world with un-knowing humans and such.

Link sat in his room. He couldnt fall asleep. He just sat there thinking about what he always thought about. What would it be like if he never had been bound. He didnt like being bound, but now Fringe was his lifeline. Literaly. If she died, so would he, but he was positive she would most likely like it if he died. He still wondered why the shapeshifters needed the guardians or whatever you called them. Link wouldn know anyway. He never paid attention in class.

Aaliyah walked through the woods then finally came to a cabin that was all hers. It had been only Aaliyah living there for two years now and she didn't like living without a bond. For more than just being lonely, also because she was weaker ever since her guardian died. She been training even more since so she can be just as strong as the rest of the shifters. She walked in her room and dropped her stuff on the ground and left. She walked to Fringe's cabin, knocked on the door. No answer. She walked in seeing Link on the far bed. Aaliyah laughed. "Walking around, looking so scard.. Well that isn't going to help... It makes you look weak.. Fringe being your bond and all.."

Link seemed to get mad at that comment surprisingly, because he never got mad at stupid comments. "What Fringe does and doesn't do, that doesn't effect my life in any way! You think because she's so tough I'm supposed to be tough. And because she's mean, I'm supposed to be mean. I'm sorry Aaliyah, but Fringe doesn't make me a person." He said, then got up and left the room. He didn't care what Fringe did, that was her life, not his.

Aaliyah was just trying to be funny, but apparently someone took it all wrong. That triggered something. She opened the door and ran after him, she ran in front of him blocking his way. "No Fringe doesn't make you a person. Yet you don't even know why your here. YOU are supposed to be HER protector! You are supposed to look out for her, be close to her so she has more strength. You don't know how much our protectors mean to use. You don't know how much they do for us, and guess what. Fringe is lucky to have you because you have no clue how hard it is to live without a human!" She yelled with tears in her eyes, then she stomped away in anger. She found her house again. Only her will ever live there until she dies. It will only be her. She screamed them calapsed to her bed in tears. She hated being the one with no human for her. She hated being the one that had to live like that. She missed her human. She wanted her back.

Shea closed the door to her cottage. Things were a lot quieter around here without Anna. 3 months ago to date Anna had killed herself. No one knows why. They had interrogated Shea of course but she knew nothing. Anna had seemed happy and content and then there was her farewell letter and she was dead. For no reason I was abandoned.
My shifting was weaker and it hurt me. She hurt me. I will never forget what Anna did to me.

Fringe crawled to the edge of the branch in her animal form. Below her Aaliyah and Link were fighting...or at least there was a lot of shouting. Fringe though about jumping down there to see what was going on but when she heard what they were yelling about....were they fighting about her? No, it was something deeper then that. But they sure were using her name an awful lot

Aaliyah gave up on looking for Fringe and went to Shea's cottage. She knocked on the door. "Shea? You back yet?" She did her best to hide her being upset. She couldn't let her know what happened. Aaliyah rarely ever got into fights with people. Especially humans. She defiantly didn't want Fringe to know. She didn't know how she would act with that. Though being her friend and all she would probably take her side.

Shea heard Aaliyah knocking at the door. She padded across the room toward the cabin door. It would be nice to have some company. Since Aaliyah had lost her human too they had hung out more. Shea opened the door and invited Aaliyah in.

Aaliyah walked in and took in a deep breathe then sat on the edge of the bed. "So.. How are you today?" She asked trying to start a conversation..

Fringe jumped down from the tree and landed beside Link in her human form "I'm going to go to the human town again, do you wanna come with me" she asked with a wide smile, Link liked going to the town too, right?
