(OK, here goes my best to get my skills back)
Mont tried knocking on the door as it slid open, he looked at where the door disappeared. "I'm never going to get used to that." He turned his small head over to the desk in front, then sprinted there with his bags in hand. His head couldn't show, only the orb from his head made it in vision. Without realizing, he was fondling the desk with it, bobbing it whichever ways. Mont tried jumped, to make his face seen, but unsuccessfully, making the orb bob more. "Hello? Can I request a room, please? And what is wrong with these doors? They keep going away and back like a magic show."

Hikaru looked up to see a bouncing red orb, smiling he looked over the counter to see a little Moogle bouncing up and down trying to get his attention."Why hello there little friend!" Hikaru got out his book of bunks and pulled out a key. "Your name is Montello correct?" He had the list of current people who had been unfrozen and he matched Montello's picture. You are going to be in Bunk 2, and here is a key to your locker to store your personal items. Just go in and claim a bed. He heard the little thing ask about the nano doors. They had just installed them a week or so ago at their stop at Second Earth so he could see how the new technology could be a little scary. "Those are NanoDoors. They don't disappear as much as they turn into this clear jell that you can just walk through. But don't worry if they accidentally close on you nothing bad will happen, you'll just be stuck for a little while till Chief gets there to get you out." He winked at the Moogle, sending him on his way.

Mont smiled, happy to have the key,"I'm probably gonna lose this." He lost everything that wasn't liquor or seemingly useful parts. That gave him an idea. He dropped his bags, trying to reach for the zipper, but he discovered that the orb has caught something. He began pulling, soon he had to press his two feet on the desk to try to free himself.
He failed, so he turned and leaned on the desk with his back, not asking for help, because of the embarrassment. His back began to hurt for some reason, then he realized he had wings. He slapped his hand against his head, he has spent more time in planes and such than on his own wings. They were weak, the little exercise he had put into them was to blame. Though even with that, he made his way on top of the desk.
He found it caught in a lamp, unlit thankfully. He popped it out, and dropped down. He waved at the man,"Sorry about that, got stuck." He laughed, more to keep himself from feeling like a fool. He a bottle of homemade brandy out, and stuck his key around a finger-hole he made to hold the bottle as a mug. Then he put it in his pocket and grabbed his bags,"Do you know who installed the doors? I want to learn about nano technology...and a way to the gym." He blushed, not entirely over the orb problem.

Hikaru couldn't stop laughing at the Moogle, he was a funny little thing."Well if you ever loose it feel free to come back here and I'll get you a new one" Hikaru started laughing again as the Moogles orb got caught in his lamp that he luckily had had turned off, he would have helped but sadly he was so busy laughing that he couldn't even move. "I'm... so... sorry... but... that .... was great" He watched at Mont got his orb free, "Well the gym is two floors up and you could always go ask the main engineer for information about the doors."

Mont's ears twitched vigorously, signifying an anger that wanted to be made seen. "You are so mean, just grow up!" He turned around, about to go out, but he stopped himself. He needed to put the bags in his locker before taking any real action. He took one motion to wing himself in the opposite direction and nearly stumbled.
He tried to make it seem as though it never happened by regaining his steps in a new grace. Mont walked towards the bunks, checking their numbers, taking forever because he went from the larger numbers to the lower ones. Finally, he reached his bunk, number 2, and he found the locker next to it. He used the key, holding onto his macro-key chain bottle. He put his bags in gently, but took out a cheap beer.
He shut the locker and began walking with a grin. He found himself at the desk again, holding tightly to the beer. "Hey, you have something to say? You think I'm a funny guy? Lets see who's funny in a few seconds."

Hikaru smiled at Mont,"I am sorry my friend, I did not mean to offend you. It is just rare to find someone who's not still upset of the recent events." He moved to his locker, taking out a bottle of green liquid. "Here, Absinthe, take is as an apology for laughing so much."

Mont cooled off enough to realize that starting a fight isn't the best way to handle this situation. He lowered the beer, disappointed, that was the reason for getting the cheap thing. "Hey, I'm sorry. I just allow the hot ladies to treat me cute." It was true, but they never called him cute after he had his way. He smiled at the memories, but decided to just go before they got too deep. He turned around and headed through the door, but his heel was caught inside. "Damn it! I am going to see the engineer after this!" Nothing like this happened in slide doors or knob doors.

Kiyoshi had gotten an alert on her communicator that someone was stuck in one of the new nanodoors and when she turned the corner she saw a Moogle with his ankle trapped,"Well hello there! Looks like my nano door doesn't want to let you go!" She walked over and opened the control panel for the door. "Don't worry I'll have yo out of here in a jiffy! Did you just get out of Cryo?"

Mont nodded, he liked the likes of her, but hated that this ship would never let him leave a good impression. "Your the engineer for this door design?" He grinned impishly, he'd be seeing her often. Then he sighed, the cryo-chamber had made him weak. "Yeah, sweet lady, I just got out. Its seems that the waking system didn't work too well for me. Thats me, building an immunity for things I need." He laughed a little shakily, possibly because of how long he had been in that position.

 Eric Chance The Second Engineer.
Eric approached the bunk rooms and noticed the large talking rat thing was stuck in the door. He couldn't help but chuckled and if the door was stuck like that it meant that the chief was there. He walked up to the door and looked at it speaking . " Chief you still having issues with theses doors." He said as he had to wait to enter now it was kind of ironic because just after he joined his arm was stuck in the wall so it was ironic to see it from the other side.

Mont hated being laughed at, he pulled out his cheap beer again. "What were you just laughing at?" His eyes were full of fury that maybe even in his small form could he strike fear into his heart. It worked every time with the moogles back home, but he was sort of kicked from there. He hoped that the man could get close enough to hit him with the bottle.

Ceraphi found herself in another room. The doors sensed her and open automatically. She peeked inside and found a rather amusing sight.
She glanced at her map. 'If I am correct this is the room for bunk assignments.' She thought to herself. She then looked up at the 4 people in the room. She was unsure whether she would interfere with the conversation or to just leave it be. She then decided.
She approached the company of four and tapped the creature that seemed human. As she waited for the human to acknowledge her presence, she tried to remember her time on second earth. What had happened to her that got her into this mysterious space ship. She then knocked herself back to the present and gave a human a big smile.
"Excuse me, Are you the person in charge? If not can you please direct me to the person in charge?" She said in her sweet voice. IT felt like it was a long time since she had spoken.

Kiyoshi looked up from her work to see Eric there,"Yeah, these bloody doors, though this one should be good in a second. For some reason this little furry thing isn't registering as a life form to the nano's." She heard another little voice and turned, "No, honey, I'm not in charge of this section, the guy in charge is behind these doors unfortunately the nanobots that make up the door aren't cooperating today." She sighed and punched the door, suddenly it liquefied, freeing the Moogle. "Hah! Thats right! These door know who's boss."

Mont fell awkwardly, didn't want to get up, because that he apparently wasn't a living thing. "Thank you for that." He took his time to get to his feet, about to cry, he turned to walk in a separate direction.
