If you've already seen stuff like the Revolution or DSlite, you'll understand that with the "ceremic white color" they both look like Apple products. Some have praised, some have complained. Right now I'm mixed. Is this going to get Ninty sued? I sure hope not. As soon as there are enough posts I'll provide a list of opinions. In the meantime, discuss.

I think that the "apple" look isn't that bad. Especially since the Revolution will come in all sorts of colors. I for one am pre-ordering a black one. Hopefully the will decide to launch all colors from the start.

Actually im sick of people saying that. it's strange how because the new apple products are popular they are automaticallt unique. the i-products are just sleek, smooth and rounded. if sony did that (the psp still looks more like an apple product to me) no one would even notice/care. it's ridiculus the slack nintendo gets for stupid stuff like that.

Wow, okay, now until I hear Nintendo come out and say "We are trying to mimic the 'Apple' look," I don't see why we'd need to compare the two.
Edit: I mean, it's not like Apple copyrighted the "sleek-&-rounded" look.

alright, since nintendo decided to make 2 shiny and sleek things, everyone's freaking out on them. they decided to have the main colors in their advertisements because it MAKES THEM LOOK MORE SHINEY... omfg people. there are several colors to choose from. and if everyone's worried about the Lite looking too apple, then get a normal DS! It looks and works a lot better (the GBA game doesn't stick out like a sore thumb) than the Lite. now don't everyone start flipping out cause i called the lite sucky. I just don't like it. if you like it, fine. if you don't, i don't care. and when the Wii was called the "Revolution" it was being shown as a red color all the time. they changed the name, and with it, the color. I don't know if i'm gonna get a red or white one. but the Wii kicks arse.it LOOKS awesome, unlike the dreaded macs and ipods everyone's saying they're copying. if you don't like it, don't get it.
And why doesn't everyone look at the 360, PSP, and PS3? the crash-box 360 is a shiney white color *except for the stupid frickin' faceplate* and it's rounded corners! and imagine, if you will, that the PS3 and PSP were white. 0|/||=6!!!11! |7'5 4|| 4PP|_3!!11!111!!1one!!1 (OMFG!!!11! IT'S AN APPLE!!11!111!!1one!!1)
And I know, most of the people in this guild probably don't care about the whole whiteness and sleekness, this is aimed at the people who say that nintendo is copying apple products. show this to anyone who says that again! This has been going on long enough and i'm fed up with it!
P.S. If Microsoft makes a handheld system, i'm murdering EVERYONE! if that happens, hide under your bed until you see on the news that "a crazed blonde 14-year-old has just rampaged through *insert your citie's name here*" I'll have been finished with your area and moving on to the next, killing anyone i see there. I promise not to look to see if anyone's under the beds. I'm done

the only real similarity is the use of smooth, white surfaces. apple products have a "rounder" shape and feel to them. Nintendo products have a more refined, "edgy" look.
