I was told to be in third person, how do I do that? Maybe my dialogues are confused with thoughts. I make a distinct difference between the two, in dialogue, I use " ", in thoughts, I use ' '. What is going on?

(OCC: I believe she was not referring to you, but the girl who posted before you. You are clearly using third person, she was using first person. Hope this helped you)

I'll check if it was a quote or not, I forget small details as such. Thanks, it may clear some air, may not, but I am still glad for your help.

Third person Is a writing form that makes your character a He, She or its name, instead of you becoming the character using I.
I would suggest that you make any thoughts in Italicize font, this way it is distinguished between Dialog and Thoughts.
How this helps smile

Thank you too, I read back, it really was for another person. If a character has thoughts, but doesn't have "I" in there, is it still 3rd person? A lot of these characters can read minds and such.

Thoughts and Dialog can have "I" in it because it is the character talking either out loud or to himself.. that is the only time when third person is not needed.
No characters in this Guild can read minds, because that is a God mod Power. If you run across one who does, please let me know.
so no third person is not used in thoughts or dialog.
