I decided to make a museum for Crosshaven, and I came up with a plan for it when we get towns up.

I think that every other week, maybe even every week, the Museum will showcase a donated item--such as someone's angel pendant--for that week of time. Then the item is given back to the true owner. The thread that would go up, when Museum is up, would have a post--preferably from the donator--that would give some sort of background to the item.

Now for the layout--I have a black carpet with wood walls.
Right now, it'll mainly showcase furniture or jewelery--I might do a different theme later.

The items I plan on using include:

1/1 Gothic Dining Table with Brown Cover
0/2 Gothic Windows
0/2 Dark Gothic Wall Tables

0/1 Gothic Candle Stand
3/3 Wooden Medival Light Fixture
0/1-4 Statue Light (not sure about how many)

0/1 Antique Clock
0/1 Purple Vase

*any jewelry, like the natural coral pendants and braceletts, or the other stone-like jewelries, etc.*

I'm showing the items in my wishlist:
Opinions and suggestions welcomed!!!

This sounds like a great idea. I don't know how many people have expensive items to display. Perhaps that's something that should be roleplayed. I would check out the gothic set for the museum.

Glad you thought the idea was ok!

The items don't have to be expensive, they just have to fit within the museum--for example, a radio wouldn't work, but a Jade necklace would or anything along the artpiece line--wishes that paintings will be introduced later on. Also, the items thing would only work for the towns, but I think that roleplaying the museum would be the best way to go for now-- xd it also depends on how fast I can get everything up and running!

I realized that the gothic set would probably fit best with the museums overall look, I just need to see which pieces to use...I betting mainly on using those little sidetables.

To be honest, you could easily use The Gaia AvatarSimulator to make Gaiahomes. Try it out at "www.gavsim.net" since they have a Homes Arranger now.

You canmake many Gaianhomes without actually getting the items. But you just wont be able to put items or people inside the images.

I didn't know about that. I'm going to have to try it out.

Thanks for the website Monstrum!

Anyways, I've decided what to use for the Museum:

1/1 Gothic Dining Table with Brown Cover
0/2 Gothic Windows
0/2 Dark Gothic Wall Tables

0/1 Gothic Candle Stand
1/4 Wooden Medival Light Fixture
0/1-4 Statue Light (not sure about how many)

0/1 Antique Clock
0/1 Purple Vase

*any jewelry, like the natural coral pendants and braceletts, or the other stone-like jewelries, etc.*
