"Yeah, but, how come you wouldn't let us have any hybrids and then you make one for yourself?" -- I didn't allow hybrids because I knew that a lot of people would opt for them and it would create a huge muddle of confusion. I wanted to save the mixes for the second generation after starting with a "pure" genepool. That and I didn't want any "uber" animals, if that makes sense....like the strength of a bear combined with the speed of a cheetah and so on. In Hector's case, it will play into his story and he does not recieve any boons from being a mix. In fact, his genetic makeup is so unstable that it leaves him very frail when all is said and done.
"So what IS Hector?" -- I have no clue. I don't think we're meant to know, honestly. He looks like an owl combined with a rhino combined with a rabbit combined with a dog. HE doesn't know either, and if you ask him, you'll probably just hurt his feelings. XD;;
"How do I arrange a playdate with Hector? -- Same way as usual. Ping me on AIM, PM me, ask me in the main thread, all that good stuff.
"You're not going to cut corners on his growth requirements just because you're the owner, are you? -- I'm going to hold myself to all the rules I hold you all to. No freebie growths for me, no. And you guys will still take priority over Hector as far as growths go, so don't worry.
"Is Hector going to be an essential NPC that we're going to have to keep up good relations with in order to do something in the future?" -- Haha, no XD Hector is just another of Karma's kids. He'll have just as much authority as any of the other FW kids (which is not much at all) so if your character decides they can't stand him and that he's their newfound nemesis, it won't have any effect on you (you might not get invited to Hector's birthday party or anything, but...yeah XD)
