1 - Major Concept and Deities List (For any of you who recognize this, yes, this is copied from the original thread, but it is modified to be a little closer to the actual belief, and also to try not to tick as many people off. My deity list is at school right now, so I can't get it atm. Try not to rip my head off and then tear it to five-and-a-half million pieces this time please.)
This is taken from the thread
God and Goddess, One of Each or Many?:Quote:

I believe that all the gods and goddesses were created in the Big Bang (along with everything else) and that over the billions of years it took for the Earth to form, they grew up together from children to adults. As life began to evolve on Earth they took it upon themselves to nurture it and care for it. As we humans evolved the gods and goddesses taught us and took on their various roles and divided up into pantheons. While we looked after the Earth and all the creatures and plants on it, they looked after us.
Though humanity is flawed and so we've been hurting the Earth and the creature and plants on it more of late than looking after them...
I see "Spirit" as the one force that connects everything - humans, gods, goddesses, earth, animals, plants and I guess it's what connects the whole universe.
Another guild member, iKillCaustic--uKillMe, posted that, and the two of us seem to see things in a similar light.
My own personal belief maintains the element of the Gods and Goddesses being created during the Big Bang. However, I believe that, when the Big Bang occured, the Gods and Goddesses emerged, and then forged their own essences and energies into the many planets and heavenly bodies, using their own will to cause the planets to grow and develop into what they are now.
I believe that humans were created to serve as physical manifestations of, and vessels of, their energy, created as a storage place for their energy. This is one explanation as to why the various deities have never physically been seen before. They exist, in the form of the planets, and in the form of us.
I think that the main ruling force of the universe is Willpower. However, I also think that Willpower is like a building or bridge, in that it must have support underneath or it all comes falling apart. That's where Wisdom, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth come into play. They are the five supports beneath Willpower.
(For those of you who are interested, the deity list is comprised entirely of Egyptian deities. I've been having difficulty finding any Egyptian deity that represented/represents water that is not a local deity (like Boann, anybody remember that discussion?)
