✖- First and foremost! Follow all Gaia ToS! This means no swearing, no flaming, no smut. We keep a strict PG-13 rating in this guild, and you can get away with a LOT and still keep PG-13. But don't push it. If you feel your character has to curse, try to use Fire Emblem-type cursewords like "Blast!" "Dastard!" and "Ingrate!". It's good for the RP, and good for you. We love romance and encourage it, but if you want to go further, leave it behind closed doors.
✖- We have a three-strike rule in this guild. If you make three minor infractions, you will be removed from the guild and will not be allowed to reapply for a period of time to be set by the discretion of the Crew. Major infractions such as intentional ToS violations can be grounds for immediate removal.
✖- We are a LITERATE guild. We are semi-high literate, which means we'll forgive you if you have trouble spelling necessary, initially, or conscious, but most browsers have spell-check these days, so repeated literacy offenses might result in a minor infraction. We're not grammar Nazis, but we aren't your "bf", either. Please try to follow the three-four complete sentence rule. We're not asking for novels here, but one-liners are our pet peeves.
✖- As in every other RP guild in existence, Godmodding is not allowed! If you're a Myrmidon, don't expect to come out of a battle with a Halberdier unscathed. Follow the GM's decisions and be creative!
✖- Do not control other characters without their creator's permission! Usually, if someone needs to take a hiatus, the GM will take care of their character, but if you are letting someone take over your character for a bit, just drop us a note, so that we know what's going on.
✖- This guild is a peaceful place. Respect the Crew and your fellow Members! Small disputes are fine, but we don't tolerate flame wars here, and repeated offenses can be grounds for removal from the guild.
✖- Navigating around a new guild can be confusing, so don't be afraid to PM a Crew Member if you have any questions. We're usually online, so if you're having a problem with a fellow member, or just need some advice with your next post, drop us a line!
✖- When creating your character, please fill out the Character Creation Form completely! The Crew isn't perfect, and we can't catch every mistake you might make, so do us a favor and check over your forms a few times before submission. It saves time on both ends.
✖- If you want to create your own side-RP, we've got a special place set aside for you. Do not create new threads in the Guild RP Forum. We don't like things cluttered here. In the same token, do not post in the Rules Thread, Profile Form Thread, etc.
✖- All decisions by the Crew are final. If you feel a situation was handled poorly by a Crew Member, feel free to take it up with a VC or the Captain, but usually, a Crew's choice is adequate.
✖- If you're applying for the guild, please include this phrase in your application: "Devdan thinks that you look angry. Why are you always scowling? Small children will start to cry!" If your guild application is too long, please PM it to a Crew Member titled "AoT Join App".We''ll get back to you ASAP.
