So I was thinking of ways we can make our guild more interesting, and I thought about battles, but I still haven't thought of how exactly we are going to do this so for now I was going to do a test run to see how it will come out. If any of you would like to help I'd greatly appreciate it. I was originally thinking of basing the battles of games were you would have to take turns to do an attack, but then for those who aren't always on well then their turn will be skipped then they die and well there goes that person so if you want to help you'll have to be an active user. I don't want to do battles were you just say what you are going to do because then it will be like a normal RP. I was also thinking we could use the dice, but how exactly we are going to use them well that is one of the problems I am trying to figure out. I'll be using this forum for testing and for those who want to help just post here or pm if you want more info or you have ideas of your own, and Kandle I hope this is alright with you?

A lot of roleplays involve using dice to attack your opponents. These are generally like Dungeons and Dragons and the like.
I would enjoy the idea, however, these types of roleplays/games are very hard to make, and have to be built just right. Also, high moderation needs to be present. Sort of like a game master per se.

Yes, however, the game master is generally the one who created the roleplay.

As much as I would love to apply for your game master's position, I ship for boot camp in July and I won't get that much time to play in June. But let me look around a few forums and see if I can find someone for you. I might be able to pull a few strings and get you guys some DMs (aka Dungeon Masters for the uninformed).

I'd appreciate it, although it wont exactly be like D&D

Furry_Fan_Boy yeah but, i wanna be a player not the game master You can do both, I'm just saying that generally, the person who creates the roleplay is the one who controls the game. Call it their topic rights, or something.

Kandle_The_Wosky You can do both, I'm just saying that generally, the person who creates the roleplay is the one who controls the game. Call it their topic rights, or something. Yeah but, it would seem unfair since i would know what will happen next and what to do to kill the enemies so it does seem unfair

It's not unfair. That's like telling someone to write a book for you.
Besides, what you are looking for is an ever-expanding game. That way it won't end and you can keep adding new ideas.

Yeah but, I like to hear other peoples' ideas not just my own. Besides its more interesting when you dont know what will happen then actually knowing what will happen.

Furry_Fan_Boy Yeah but, I like to hear other peoples' ideas not just my own. Besides its more interesting when you dont know what will happen then actually knowing what will happen. You aren't making that much sense. If you collaborate, then people will already know what will come next because they and you helped design the game. It is generally the person's job to become the GM if they have created the RP. Alternatively, you can work with someone to help design it and both be GMs.
