I want to ask which do you prefer, subbed or dubbed anime? And give reasons why so.
I personally prefer subbed anime over dubbed. The reason why being the following. It kind of bothers me when they change the character's names in some dubbed animes, the same goes for food (ex: Riceballs are not doughnuts). Another reason is in some dubbed animes, the voice doesn't really fit the character to me. Lastly in some dubbed animes, they leave out some important details or it feels too scripted. I apologize in advance if this offends you or anything, but that's my opinion. What about yours?

Subbed for me! For one, I don't ever really like the English voices..they never actually fit the characters and that just drives me crazy. I also can't stand how the females always have to act so overly enthusiastic (my big one that has this is Kaleido Star...omg...I wanted to stab the character in the eyes with a fork).
It also kinda bothers me that the mouths don't match so much with the words when its in English...because obviously the mouths are moving to the Japanese words. That's just a little thing I have...I never like it when the audio doesn't match the visual xD
My ONLY exception to this is Hetalia. I didn't like it in Japanese...I liked the English dubbed better because it gave the characters the stereotypical accents, and I think it worked well. That's just my opinion of course :B
