This room holds an heir of arisocratic poshness about it that makes it feel like it is far more elegant and sophisticated that what it even appears as here.
The atmosphere starts off warm and inviting at first, its almost easy to get drunk off the atmosphere.
Your nice and pleasant conversations that started out nice and relaxed starts to turn sour in you mind, as smiles and graces are preformed.
In the back of your mind you start to feel paranoia, you wonder how this person your talking to is going to try and get an advantage over you.
You can almost see it in their smile, the deception and you can almost hear the manipulation in their tones.
But surely you can trust that these people aren't out get you.
...right?

The House Begins to Stir

The sound of chairs scraping against the floor fills the room. This is followed by the rustle of cloth and the clinking of dishes. The lights flicker on revealing a cozy dining room. All neat and clean, nothing out of the ordinary as of yet. Food sits upon the table neatly arranged on platters or in bowls. Steam wafts from the top of the dishes letting you know that the food is not only fresh, but hot as well. All and all it looks set up for a quaint little formal dinner party. The guests are all sitting in their chairs. Napkins spread neatly in their laps, there hands resting by there plates, and heads bowed as if praying. If one would look closer however, they would realize that the guests were not praying but in fact asleep. Quite laughter runs through the room before disappearing leaving the quests to awake when they will.

Cien was wondering the house with no particular destination in mind. After all, there was nothing to do now that everything had grown quiet again. There was no one to see accept on an occasion Wrenlo and nowhere to go. For all intended purposes, he was trapped here in this house, and not in the metaphorical but the literal sense. Ever since he had come here, he had yet to find a way out for all his searching both high and low. Moreover, while he had found many secrete passageways and hidden rooms, none of them led outside this place.

Unlike his previous companions, though he was still left to wonder this prison. Unlike them, he was still alive. One by one his companions had disappeared, at first him and the others there at the time thought they had found a way out, and just did not come back to tell them about it. That was before they found, what he now referred to as The Hall of the Dead. As each person disappeared, his or her picture would appear in that hall. Each one giving some hint on how they had died.

Cien had even seen it happen on an occasion. A picture appearing a split second in a place where there had not been one, and a person who did not show up for meal time. Sometimes before a picture would appear, you could hear screams and pleadings echoing through the house. When you rushed to investigate the source of the disturbance, there would be no one there, but the pictures. Always the pictures in the room would have these creepy knowing smiles painted on their still pale faces. Cien had long ago concluded this house was haunted or possessed by something giving it an unnatural life by taking the lives of others.

As he passed the dining room door, he caught the aroma of food. That is strange I know Wrenlo does not usually cook. Curious he peeked into the room, there he discovered a sight he had only come across twice before. Sitting at the table where the new "guests" to the house, dressed in formal attire like this was a black tie affair and completely unaware of their surroundings. Most likely still off in dreamland from whatever drug or substance was administered to them. A "welcome" feast lay out on the table in front of them. All the finer foods, steaming and cooked to absolute perfection. He had awakened once to that setting, and as these people would be, he had been frightened and confused.

"So it begins anew, like many before you, you were chosen by the house for the house. Enjoy what rest you can and the meal, for when it is completed the house will awake,” he muttered more to himself than the slumbering people who had begun to stir in their seats. Yes, it had began again, but how long would this game last this time around remained to be seen.

Rosabella Abandonato

God was six days sober on the nigth that she was born...

Her head pounded mercilessly.
Everything ached and throbbed and like a drunk waking from a stupor Rosabella began to stir, her hands falling off the table top gentle and landing on her lap. Her head lulled and rolled back a few times as she tried to shake off whatever was foreign in her body that was causing her to feel this way. Her hearing was starting to come back to her, though at first it was like listening through water, everything was garbled and unfocused. The sounds of softly clanking plates started to fill her ears and the rustling of elegant and expensive clothes were starting to come into focus. She still had her eyes closed, anything to temper that damned migraine that she had gotten somewhere. Her mind started to clear as she realized where she wasn’t… and she wasn’t in the limo anymore. In fact, she wasn’t in a bed either. Rosabella forced open an eye and looked through a swimming distorted vision of where she was. A dinning hall came into focus and she slowly opened another eye. There were other guests here, groaning softly like she did as they too began to stir. Was this a dream? Confused and still rather disoriented she pushed herself up slightly and noticed something odd about how she was dressed. Her eyes slowly rolled back and forth for a moment as she trying to make sure nobody was about to see her look down at herself, and possible make an adjustment to what she had on. She looked down at herself, she was wearing a rather ornate and detailed gown, it was a bright crimson, the colors muted by a black lace mesh that wrapped around the entirety of the dress itself. There was black bead worked inlay that was woven into the dress itself, along the bust the beadwork got thick and heavy, creating some level of further protection for her. She could tell right away that this dress was boned, her stomach was restricted and she was having to breath from her chest instead., she felt no zipper in the back as she leaned up against her chair, instead, finding a hook and eye closures that made sure that the gown stayed on her body. There was a series of rhinestones that banded around her dress in three places, at the top of her hips, the middle of her pelvis and around her mid-thigh, in between her bust there was also a rhinestone pattern circle, in the middle of it, an obviously fake diamond that unfortunately attracted a lot of attention where she didn’t want it. The dress was form fitting around the majority of her body, except where her legs were, in at about her knee the dress began to widen a bit to allow some freer movement of the legs. It was about there that lace became more of a mesh, and them became slightly more frilly in pattern, though the rigidity of mesh made it look more wavy than frilly. It was a really nice dress, the red material was definitely a satin cloth. On her arms and covering her hands was a pair of opera length black gloves. Around her neck was her usual necklace that her grandmother gave to her and in her ear she could feel the weight of stud styled earrings. She couldn’t tell from looking at them but as coordinated as the outfit was right now, she assumed that they were diamond, or at least imitation.

The was just one problem though…

Someone had stripped her of her clothes, someone had the testosterone fill fortitude to actually drug her, undress her, re-dress her and then place her here in a room full of strangers in this odd place. To hell with lawyers, when she found out how did this she was going to personally beat the ever loving snot right out of them. She squirmed a little uncomfortably and pulled the shoulder less dress up a little bit so that she didn’t have to worry for a short time who was going to see her pop out of the dress. That was the reason she hated shoulder less dresses, they never stayed up and it was a constant struggle to have to keep them from falling low enough to expose oneself, men called it ‘sexy’… well hells bells, lets put them in a skirt that hikes up every move they made and see how long they thought it was charming. Ugh, she had a few choice words and to start things off her mood was already soured by the fact that her privacy had been invaded and she was having to socialize with a whole bunch of people. The smell of hot food wafted up and found her nose, making her stomach gurgle and growl relentlessly. She leaned back a bit and defiantly cross her arms under her chest as she looked around. She saw these movies, there was going to be a poorly constructed wooden doll riding a tricycle and tell them that they were going to play a game and then make them do sick twisted things to each other in order to get out of here. The soup was probably poisoned and she’d have to kill someone for the antidote right? Well she wasn’t going to get fooled that easy, nope. Not no way, not no how.
Then again… she was so hungry she was starting not to care if it was poisoned, at least if the games were anything like what she was thinking she would at least have a chance for an antidote. Rosabella nibbled slightly on her lip as she looked down at the warm soup that was in front of her, silverware surrounding the china plates. The smells of the rest of the meal weren’t helping either. Meats, and potates, salads and pasta. Well, she supposed it would be rude of her as a guest to not at least eat something… who was their host of honour anyway? … she planned to beat him senseless with a dinner roll in thanks for kidnapping and bringing her here. If whoever the sick man was who thought that she was going to be a damsel in distress he had another thing coming. If she could kill her sister for taking her boyfriend away from her than she was more than capable of bumping this pervert off in his sleep for her own survival. Rosabella looked around the room once more before hesitating a few more minutes, but inevitably breaking down and reaching for her spoon.

The food was fantastic! It was actually surprising how good it tasted, hell if the kidnapper was interesting enough, had as much money as she was under the impression he was and could keep the cook of this meal on, maybe she would just make him wear some food or something. As she slowly and very lady like worked on her meal she looked around and tried to get a feeling for the others that were around, judging by their reactions they were all strangers here. She wondered why they were here though, and what happened to the rest of her family? She wasn’t sure, nor was she in any position to find out. She wondered if the person who kidnapped them was sitting at this table or if they were hiding out somewhere.
God this food was good, too bad her dress was going to make sure that she wasn’t going to be able to gorge herself on all of this awesome yummy food. If it was poison it was be best tasting poison she had ever had in her life… not that she ever been poisoned all the often… or at all… but at least if this was her first time she had a very high standard in which her food needed to be poisoned at.

Disney-esque princess, of greed and darkest deception.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX|Moods:More Than A Little Freaked Out | Thoughts: Where the heck am I? |

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXMarilyn Walker

User ImageUser Image
What a strange dream was the first thing that rolled through her head as she began to become more coherent. Marilyn sat there as she patiently awaited for her head to clear some more. I must of drank to much again was her the next thought as she felt her stomach lurch at the smell of food. Something about that seemed wrong, but at the moment she could not figure out why, she was concentrating more on controlling her stomach than anything else. As she shifted in her seat she felt the light fall and rustle of cloth that told her she was wearing a dress. Blearily she opened her eyes, and brought her hands down off the table to adjust the cloth. Why am I wearing a dress? she could not remember changing out of her school clothes. Come to think of it where was she? Marilyn tried to focus on the room but all the different colors assaulted her senses and she closed her eyes again. "You have been invited." the words echoed around her head reminding her of that strange dream she had.

Slowly she opened her eyes again, relived that this time she could focus without feeling sick. The first thing that drew her eyes was the two large chandeliers hanging overhead. They looked to be made of some crystal type glass, and looked very expensive. Her eyes roamed down and she next examined the walls. They were tastefully decorated in her opinion, the mirrors making the room seem much larger than it was. As she stared at her reflection in the mirror she dimly noted that it way pulled back into some type of bun a few strands left free to dangle on the left side of her face. She was wearing light makeup and just enough color to highlight the dress she was wearing. It was a gorgeous, orange chiffon evening dress. It hung off her right shoulder the beaded with delicate looking stones in oranges and reds. It was plain for the most part except for the beads on the shoulder strap and under her bust line. What really made the dress was the multi play of colors. Differing shades of orange and white mixed together in a breath taking sun set type effect. It took her a while before she realized she did not own a dress like that.
"You have been invited, and not attending is not an option" the words the two boys spoke in her dream played through her head again. Only now Marilyn was starting to wonder if it had been a dream at all, but reality. She could feel her heart thud in her chest as she began to panic slightly. She glanced around the room and found other occupants sitting in the chairs beside and across from her. People who for the most part looked like they were slowly starting to come around. One girl sitting a little to the left on the opposite side of the table from her had even began eating. She recognized none of them though.

Just where was she and how did she get here? What had they drugged her with, and who where they to begin with. Her breath started to come faster and faster and shake a bit as the panic attack started to effect her body. When she realized what was happening, she had to force herself to take several deep breaths to calm down, but it was not easy. Eventually she managed to calm down though and reached for the glass of water by her plate and took a sip, and then another. When she began to feel more like normal, she looked around the room again. She had never been here before. Almost on auto pilot she reached out to serve herself some food and began to eat. While she ate she tried to absorb what had happened to her. She had obviously been kidnapped, although for what reason she did not know. Stomach now full she felt a little better but now she looked around the room wondering what was to happen next.

Tarion groaned as he began to wake up, his movements a bit slow as he takes in the odd sounds from his surroundings. Is that the sound of other people? But that shouldn't be right . . . There are never any other in my apartment, let alone my bedroom . . . He thought to himself before it occurred to him: He was sitting up in a chair in not his pajamas, but what felt like a kimono. He slowly opened his eyes, taking in the faint light and all the sights around him, starting to shake as he sees someone sitting right next to him.

His eyes widen a bit and his shaking intensifies as he sees the many people around him. Where am I? How did I get here?!?! He mentally yelled, beginning to freak out a bit, looking down. He notices how he was dressed, a traditional formal black kimono with pink cherry blossoms decorating it. Tarion begins to breathe heavily before looking up and grabbing his glass of water and taking a large sip to try to calm down a bit.

He sets his glass back down before he reaches into his kimono, hoping to find his painting. He sighs with relief when he finds it hidden away, pulling it out to look at it, the winter cherry blossoms beautifully painted on. He carefully puts it back into his kimono before he glances at the food, hearing his stomach grumble a bit at the sight. Tarion sighs before fixing himself a rather small plate of food before digging in, keeping his eyes transfixed onto his food to avoid eye contact with anyone else.

☆═━Knowledge is power...━═☆
※※Formal Delinquint※※

User ImageIt was so much like sleep paralysis. She already had woken up from a slumber, but instead of freaking out like some she remained to be calm. Well she got over it, while attempting to awaken. She couldn't open her eyes or move at all, though she could hear the groaning of others. As well as the teeth grinding of one who is currently eating a meal. She extremely hard to move atleast her finger tips or at least her big toe. She tried to shout out words random words that is, nothing came out but her lips moved a little bit. She continued doing so, and in approximately one to two minutes she was able to whisper a word or so. Though doing so cured her, her eyes snaped open and she regained the strength of her body.

Diviana lifted her head a bit, and rolled it side to side slowly. Doing those little neckrolls that people would teach little children when stretching, along with it she let out a slight yawn. She quickly picked up the napkin nearby her utensils to cover her mouth. It was then when she noticed the formal attire she was it. She didn't even notice the food or the people at the table at first, but the clothing really took her eyes. She wore a white dress, which was somewhat like of a cocktale dress. Her dress was also strapless, but had a lace tied on the back of it. The dress was made out of some comfortable material like silk, or so she had assumed anyways. The center of her dress was a big black bow. It was located near her belly button mostly. The bow itself was not exactly huge, nor tiny. But it was and "ok" size for big, one could say anyways.

It was then when she looked at the others at the table. Some were still in that little sleeping trance that she was in a few minutes ago. Though, they may haven't experienced that little sleep paralysis thing that she had going on. "Wow, you have nice dresses too.." She had said under her breath looking at all the girls' dresses. Some began to ate, when she was watching each single one of them. This could be dangerous, but who cares.. She took her spoon and fork, and put them together to grab the food onto her plate. She too began to eat slowly enjoying her meal. She had no rush at all, being trapped in an unknown house. Where would she go? After a few minutes she had finished her meal. Diviana doesn't really have big meals in the day, she just takes in what she can. Usually, she has snacks in between meals and that is how it worked for her for meals. By her right hand, she lifted a glass of a colourless substance. Which she assumed was water, and drank it slowly. Indeed it was. Taking her napkin, she dabbed it around her mouth quickly. Wiping away the small excess food that may be shown on her face.

Troa awoke to a kink in his neck, and his hand grasping onto the silverware that he thought at first was his bouquet of roses he had bought. Groaning a little as he sat up, his vision slightly blurry from his eyes having been closed for he guessed was a long period of time. He saw food in front of him, and in a place he didn't recognize. "The hell...?" He muttered to himself as he looked around, seeing some other people as well. "Anyone else know what's goin on?" He asked, his voice slightly groggy. He cleared his throat, and rubbed the sleep from his eyes before turning back to the food in front of him. He was indeed hungry, however because of the situation didn't know if he should eat it. However hunger won out, and he took a small bite of the food. It tasted good to him, the mashed potatoes were light and fluffy with the rich and creamy flavor of buttermilk butter. There were chopped chives and a hint of roasted garlic as well, and just seemed to melt in his mouth. "Well however brought me here... hope their not expectin me to pay for dinner..." He muttered out loud, though mainly to himself. He glanced around the table every now and then, not recognizing anyone... which he guessed wasn't all that odd. Taking another bite of the potatoes, he sighed a little as he took a sip of the water in front of him.

Marilyn looked over when she heard an exclamation from someone else waking up and just beginning to realize where they where. Like the two other girls he decided to eat. He was also the first man sitting at the table that had awoken she noted without meaning too. The other man in the room awake was standing at the door watching them all. Which is a little creepy if you ask me. "I guess I was not the only one unexpectedly invited to the party." she asked some what relived that it seemed that she was not the only one out of sorts here. Although she was a little calmer with food in her stomach, she could not help her voice wavering a bit as she spoke out loud. She hated to be the center of everyones attention, like her words would do, but at the same time hated being an outcast. It was a constant battle with herself that she struggled with. When to speak and how? She alway agonized over it.

Putting that aside for the moment though. Her want to know how she had gotten there and why greatly overtook her thoughts.
"Does any one remember anything at all about how we got here? Or even why we are here?" she inquired, then not giving them a moment to answer she continued on slightly nervous. She brought her hands up in front of her as she spoke Because the last thing I remember was being at my school. I must of dozed off because I had this really freaky dream. Then I woke up here." she looked around the room at the others awake questioningly wanting to know if any of them had a similar experience.

Rosabella Abandonato

I'm feeling:Paranoidxxxx

═════════════════════════╝

God was six days sober on the nigth that she was born...

With Rosabella’s back to the door, she was ignorant of the person who was waiting in the midst. Instead she was silently trying to get a read for the people who were at the table, awake and alert to the world around them. Her hazel eyes studied each movement, every action and reaction was noted and her woman’s intuition tapped into to try and get a feel for these new people. She was a creature of observation and reaction, when you meet people for the first time, your best to get a read on them, while at the same time trying to do the best that you could to not get read yourself, words must be chosen carefully and silence is every bit a placed calculation as your words. Perhaps it was just the predatory instincts of a woman who may have to battle for self preservation, or perhaps it was just her ruthless and sociopathic nature that was making her somewhat paranoid. She had a lot of odd feelings in this room, something in here was intoxicating, soothing and brought some level of joyous celebration within her, but that sort of feeling was actually rather foreign to her, so it raised some red flags as tension from the other mixed and intermingled and also caused her a level of edgy paranoia. It was like when you were taking with someone, and despite their smile you know that they hated you and were only there to gather some information about you while you smiled back and pretended to care. It was almost like swimming with sharks, you knew that someone was going to strike at you, either physically or mentally, it was just a matter of not knowing who or when it was going to happen. It was as thrilling as it was dangerous, something that she actually got thrills from when she was in social settings, having mental dancing duels with her political and financial rivals, one never knew when a bluff called would result in a truth or when someone had more power over the other suddenly because of a choice made or a deal cut behind the closed doors of the world. Not really knowing what was going on, she used proper edict, dabbing her napkin around the sides of her lips to removed any left over first course that she may have unknowingly left behind in her consumption of it. Her eyes focused in on the girl whom looked rather young, though sometimes with Asian decent it was hard to tell, especially with that haircut of hers. She half whispered something that Rosabella only caught a few words out of, from there she could guess that she was commenting on her dress, or the attire of others. It was hard to tell from where she was.

Some emo-ish boy was having a slight panic attack, taking up his water to try and calm himself, when he reached into his pocket he seemed to have found something that made him relax, perhaps it was some kind of medication or something that he needed for one reason or another. Heart condition or other organ problems. She really wasn’t sure what to make of him just yet, he felt a little head shy to her, showing some signs of anxiety when he awoke to the group may suggest he had social phobia’s. What he found in his pocket may be linked to that as well. He seemed rather timid and probably not one who was going to try and get cozy with anyone here. They say that it was the quiet ones whom you had to look out for, but she wasn’t convinced of that with this one just yet. His refusal to make eye contact showed a certain level of weakness that may be turned against him. She wasn’t sure what the circumstances behind this place were, but she was willing to bet that it was something malicious. You didn’t just kidnap people for social graces and curtseying parties. It was then that another girl spoke up, with all eyes on her she asked what everyone remembered before they came here was, the proceeded to fumble though her explanation of how she got here herself. She seemed fine until attention was brought to her, then she started to get a little uncomfortable, she wondered if her raising her hand to her chest was an unconscious attempt to protect herself or suppress a feeling of panic. Time would tell and she would be keeping an eye on the younger girl with the fiery red hair. The question itself seemed irrelevant to her to answer, actually she didn’t seem to need to put much in anyway, seeing as how she had no idea how she got here either… or where here was for that matter, this girl and her seemed to be in the same boat as far as knowledge of her situation. With nothing new to add her attention was drawn to some of the others as far as answers were concerned. Rosabella started to eat her main course, cutting a small bit of meat away from some sort of animal part. When she put it to her mouth, she had a hard time figuring out what it was, some sort of wild meat, but she didn’t have any idea of what it was, she had a few samples of wild meat before, but not many, so she could rule out what it wasn’t. But that wasn’t really enough to narrow down what it could be. Mystery wild meat it was then… and damn good too, it almost fell right off the bone and it was tender and juicy. Her mouth watered and she immediately wanted more of it.

Tempering herself so that she didn’t seem too eager and unlady like, she instead took her time savouring the meat strip that was in her mouth and looked around the table at the rest of those who made up her company, many of them had yet to walk up, and she serious was contemplating taking the meat off her neighbour’s plate while they slept. Hopefully they didn’t wake up before she was finished her portion of meat so that she could swipe it. The food may be great but the service sucked, and there was no way she was going to reach across the table and get some more, it was just out of her reach and she was sure that doing so would give the others a show of how quickly she could cover and redress what just popped out. Her observations continued as she looked over at the other male whom had woken up and started on his mashed potatoes, he seemed rather clean and not too bad on the eyes, he seemed to be open enough with himself, he wasn’t shying away from them, though his constant mumbling and muttering was starting to rake on her nerves a little bit, granted, he might just be quiet and the distance between them was the thing that muted what he was fully trying to say… that or he was just a mumbler. That could be as well. Rosabella dabbed her napkin on her mouth gently once more, she could feel the lipstick on her mouth and she made sure not to remove too much of it with her manners. She felt a purse beside her, probably with make-up and other accessories, but she wasn’t about to look and find out in the middle of dinner. Maybe it was time to let her thoughts be known.
” I think that the better question of yours, my dear, is why we are here.” Rosabellla finally said to the girl away from her a little ways. Her voice held practiced, polished authority, it was usually used to let others know that she wasn’t just some dainty little housewife to be, that she was a woman with a plan and she was going to achieve it no matter the cost, though here, it may just be taken as someone with a rather passive aggressive personality. ”How we got here and the last things that we remember are probably irrelevant. Perhaps what we should be more concerned with is what our… host… is planning on doing with us now that we are here. How he got us her should probably come second to what it will take to get out. You aren’t brought to a place without your knowing for a pleasant and fun filled evening, if your kidnapped it's for something a little more malicious. As to why... I have no idea."
Rosabella closed her eyes for a moment in thought before opening them again, once more taking a silver of meat and raising it to her mouth to be placed inside.

Troa looked up at the two people who spoke, taking some meat for himself as well. Taking a bite, he smirked a little at the familiar taste. "Someone's dished out a good amount of cash." He sighed with a smirk. And a rather exotic taste, last time I had elk I had to steal it... He thought to himself, shaking his head slightly before looking back at the other two who spoke. As was his habit, he started to analyze the two of them. The first seemed timid, which was understandable given their situation. He saw her as the kind of girl at a party who would hang out in the back, and talk with only the people she knew well. However, those kinds of people usually were good natured enough, and rather social once they knew someone. The other gave him a colder vibe, like one that a politician or a lawyer would have. Her choice of words, rational realization of what they should be thinking about impressed him. "I agree with what she said." Troa said finally, leaving his analyzation of the others for later. "But since we're here..." He said with a smirk, reaching over some of the platters for the wine bottle. "I don't see why we don't get to know each other while we're here, since I get the feelin we're gonna all be here for a while together whether we like it or not." He added, looking around and finding a bottle opener on the table. After taking the cork out, he poured himself a sample. Swirling the wine a little before smelling it a little, he took a sip and grinned a little. "Who ever owns this place and brought us here, is loaded." He said, pouring himself a full glass. "Based off of the wine here, the array of food, this room, and the cutlery alone that much can be said. Top it off with all of us here, and with no knowledge of how or why... unless there's someone here withholding info." He added with a shrug. "I'll be willing to bet that the windows and doors will be locked as well, and can't be opened with a simple turn of a knob or picked open." He added, putting more food on his plate. "Or there's a high wall with nothing for us to use to get over it, or we're in the middle of no where..." He sighed, pausing a little to take a bite of food before speaking again. "To answer your question..." He said, nodding to Marilyn. "Like how I assume it is for the rest of us, I do not know how or why I got here. As to what I was doing before..." He said, pausing as he took a sip of the wine. "I was going to a party that one of my employers invited me to." He said with a shrug. It was a blatant lie, but lying was quite sadly one of the few things he could do to almost perfection. However, in his mind, it wasn't anyone else's business what he was doing prior to waking up here. "Anyone else wanna glass?" He asked, holding up the bottle.

Cien figured the least he could do was let them in on the House. If he did not tell them they would find out soon enough anyways. Cien knew from one personal experience and seeing it two other times that once the feast was over, and all the guest have awoken, the games would of began. All the spooks and the haunts, and the demons, would awake and be free to roam the house. Then there was the matter of those letters that would occasionally pop up. He had found one in a closet one time, though he never opened it. Once the last person the house decided to take vanished, the House would go into a stat of dormancy for no less than a week and no more than a year. The time seemed to vary with how long the people it had brought continued to live. The dormant times where a blessing for those like him and Wrenlo when they could wonder their prison in relative peace.

Still for all his wondering he had never once found a way out when the house was active, or dormant. He shook his head though, he was beginning to get off track. It seemed that all he did lately was think. Sighing he stepped forwards and spoke making himself known at last.

I would say Welcome, but I do not think that would be the appropriate term for your situation," he began, as he felt all their eyes start to focus on him he smiled a bit. "I can only tell you that like yourselves I was brought here long ago. I will tell you there is no way out, but like the others you will probably try your best to find one. I only caution you to be weary. Although the passage of time is hard to tell from within these confines, I have been stuck hear for at least two years." he paused for a second before continuing, " As our new friend pointed out earlier, you will find all the windows in the house on the lower floors, locked or bricked in. The ones on the third floor up, generally remain unlocked, if you want to risk jumping from that hight be my guest. The main door of the house is open for those who wish to traverse outside, but you will be disheartened to find that this house is surrounded by thick smooth stone walls. Not an inch of ivy or other vine covers them. There is not even a front gate. There is only solid stone. The wall extends about a mile from the house in all directions. No one has ever left...not alive anyways." His voice rang out over the dinning room table to those who where awake, "I am not your enemy but a prisoner here like you for what ever reason. You can choose to trust, or not to trust my words. I only came to tell you, enjoy the meal why you can. When you are done the House will come fully awake, and the House keeps what the House takes. That is all."

Cien turned from the new group really wanting nothing to do with them as of yet. They would find out the truth of their situation if they did not believe him soon enough. As he walked back to the dining room door he was well aware that probably everyone was staring at him, and next to no one would believe him. It had been the same with the previous two groups that had came through the house. Both times he had happened to pass the doorway when some of them had woken, and both time he felt compelled to give a speech and leave. Just like both times he expected them not to believe him until the activity started. With a final glance back at them he exited out into the hall.

Meanwhile...

A door opens deep with in the house, allowing a bright white light to lite up the hall. From the door way a steady stream of figures begin to emerge. Some small, some big, some fat, some thin, Some were ugly and mishapped and some more lovely than anything on this earth. Each of them strode down to the end of the hall before vanishing with a small pop to there places in the house. They were free again. Free to roam, to scare, to kill. Everywhere throughout the House they set sealed letters for those who searched the rooms. What they where for none but them know.

User ImageShe wasn't listening to anyone at all. Everyone was just a big blur. Infact, she was examining everyone one my one. Rarely, opening an ear up to hear what they sound like to try to make up their character. She stared at them for countless minutes, as one each started to speak up one by one. None of them scared her, or gave her any feelings but one. The lady that spoke last, before that random burst from the male. That wasn't really part of the table or group you could say.

Diviana looked at her for a long while, but tried to not make it obvious. She watched as the male had left out of the room then let out a breath. She took the cloth napkins into hand and started to tie them together into somewhat of a little bag. " Actually, none of your questions matter now. You heard him didn't you? " She paused and looked at them all, while tying the last knot of the napkins. " 'The house keeps what the house takes'" she tried to copy his voice along with some hand gestures. "All that matters now, is. Are we sticking together? Yes or no? Because we'll come across each other whether we like it or not."

She looked at everyone with a serious tone on her face. No smile, or hint of emotion was shown. She started to take some of the lemons on the table and put them into her little napkin bag. Along with that she took her steak knife. "Yes I'm stealing this little knife just for a while. " She looked at everybody once again. " You people don't mind. Do you?"
