What Are Some of Your Other Hobbies: I like to read, write, divulge in self-exploration, harvest creativity in my son, eat (yes, I do believe eating can be considered a hobby!), roller skate, camp and I participate in the Northern California Renaissance Faire.

What Inspires You: I look at ALOT of blogs and local artists and even here on gaia. There's so much talent and so many ideas.
What Are Your Creative GoalsI own and run a (not very busy) personal photography business. In the near future I plan on selling prints online while I'm still attending school, and then after that, we'll see.
What Are Some of Your Other Hobbies: I love taking care of my pets, 1 fish, 1 hedgehog, 1 dog. I like to drink and do puzzles with my friends. Im still in love with my favorite childhood video games.

Hi! I'm a crocheter and jewelry maker. I've always loved photography but have had a hard time getting anywhere with it.
I have a etsy store but never have anything to stock it with as the things I make are usually sold or special ordered before I get so far as to take a picture of it. I can't live off my crafting but I sure enjoy doing it! One of my favorite things in the world is wearing a necklace I made and someone telling me they like it without knowing it's one of mine.
If it were up to me everything in my house would be pink/green/light blue/black/grey but I have a 15 year old daughter (Magooalou) that has other ideas about my colour scheme. I've never been good at talking about myself but I am a very open person. I hope to chat with you all in the near future!

Favorite Color: a wide array. pastels/desaturated colors of any kind are my favorites. and deep reds.
Medium of Choice: photography. currently i use a Sony Alpha A100 dSLR; and i'm really wishing i still had the ability to develop my own film. but for now, i work with digital and photoshop cs5.
Creative Influences: nature, people, live music.
Favorite Quote: "eyes like a shutter. mind like a lens."
What Inspires You: the fact that i (as well as any photographer) has the artistic ability to capture a moment in time, and even if it is of the same subject; that moment is never re-created. (i'm not a huge fan of fashion photography, it's a little too posed. i like spontaneous).
What Are Your Creative Goals: to eventually make it to the bay area, cali and have my own portrait studio/live band performance photography business.

Personal Greeting: hello. i'm phanta, and i'm a twenty-one year old female. i currently reside in texas, however it is my life goal to make it to the bay area in california one day. (hayward is my goal). i've been into photography since junior high school, so around thirteen years old or so. i've taken a few classes, but i've found that when i'm told what to photograph, it doesn't come out as well as i originally wanted. so now, i'm simply studying photography at a community college, where it'll be easier for me to use my own personal style instead of having a long list of rules i must follow. i am aiming to have degrees in many things, as i love to learn; and art is just the tip of the iceberg for me.

Hey, I live in the heart of the BEast (California East Bay) and I am just curious as to what is calling you out here. Lol, tbh I've been here pretty much all my life and, even though I find it MUCH better than Houston (my only piece of Texas for comparison razz ) I can't wait to get out. LOL!

I write fiction mostly. Poetry sometimes. I'm not really big on sharing my written work. I've had some bad experiences with that. I'm cool to share my other crafts though. I'm sorry about your familiar. I am all too versed in that subject. When the choices are to watch them suffer or help end their pain there isn't much of choice.
