If Adam remembers the cage, I have a feeling he'll be a very dark character. He never got the chance to bond with his brothers, and it was all their fault that Adam was left in the cage for so long. Dean should have had someone else get Death to release Adam's soul, if Death wouldn't do it twice for him.
