Welcome to our CC breeding thread. This thread will be open every month that we feel able to do at least one breeding. Colorists may choose whichever breedings they wish to do, and will include any pairings they've taken on in the Active Breedings post, as well as contacting the owners of the parents prior to beginning. Once your breeding has been chosen, the colorist will not start on it until the trade is begun.
Finally, this thread is wiped clean each month, with a marker placed by The Bronze Suzumi to let you know when the month's slate begins. If you have a pairing that has not been chosen, and a new month arrives, simply repost the pairing after the marker to be considered for that month. This ensures that pairings over the course of the month are only for active participants in the shop.

You may not make any gold off of your offspring. No gold or item trades are allowed, but pet and art trades are considered acceptable.

Once your egg clutch has been delivered, they are yours to do with as you will. We certainly encourage you to give away extra eggs, but we don't require it.

The owner of the newbie egg must be named when you post for the spot. You may not change the name unless your original newbie has since gotten a Long.
OO
Roleplay will grant you an egg for free, but must be completed or very close to completed before you post for a breeding.
OO
Lifematings will increase the clutch size by one egg, but lifemates are magically bound together and may never breed with any Long but their mate.
OO
Dim Sum for extra babies may be eaten by each parent (though not the surrogate), allowing up to 2 extra eggs.
OO
In the CC thread, homosexual pairings must use a surrogate mother or father. Adoption is not available in this thread.

This thread is separate from colorist breeding threads. In this thread, colorists may choose whichever pairing(s) they like. If you are passed over, try a different pairing or just keep trying, but do not complain.

Ensure that you pay promptly, so that you do not miss out on your breeding. Those who take longer than a week to begin payment may be removed from the Active Breeding lists.

The base cost for these breedings is 25,000g (25k). Steamed buns may be added on for larger clutch sizes, at their normal prices. When a colorist claims your breeding, they will verify the total amount needed in the trade.
