Something special about the cafeteria at Halfblood Academy is that there is no lunch line; there is no prepared hot lunch of any sort. What we do have are enchanted goblets and platters. You pick up one of each, go sit at your table with your friends, and then just think up what you want to eat and drink at that moment! It will appear on your plate or in your cup!

As they approached the dinning hall, Claire didn't even seem to notice she was she holding hands with Romanus. Instead she was thinking over whether or not she should get something to eat. What with her small stomach and all that. Well, something small probably would hurt... Right? Probably not. It was then that Claire actually noticed she was still holding hands with the other camper. "Ah, Es tut mir leid!" She chirped slipping her hand away in embarrassment and accidentally speaking in German in her flustered state. Oops. "Heheh... Sorry... I mean," She added in after a pause, once again ruffling the back of her head. Pointing to the food she asked a polite, "Should we get food first?"

Romanus smiled a little and found her emberassment a little cute. Then when she talked in german he had no idea what she had said until she explained it to him. " Well yea that would be nice, and by the way that german thing is cute." He told her and winked before we went over to get ssome food.

Claire blinked once, then twice before what he said hit home. All at once she turned a bright pink and shook her head, "E-ehhh?!" was all she managed at first. It took her a moment to calm down slightly before she shook her hands as well, "N-no, it's not... It's silly and just me messing up!" She countered, rather flustered at reviving a complement. All the same, Claire followed after Romanus to collect food. She took a few strawberries and grapes along with a ham and cheese sandwich. Once she deemed she had enough food, Claire headed to the fire. From her plate she supplied half her fruit and only the best along with a little over half of her sandwich. Once the fires engulfed her food, Claire dipped her head, mumbling a soft "For my father Zeus..." Before pulling aside to find a place to sit with Romanus.

Romanus smiled when she got really flustered and stifled a lught. Then he got his food, a few slices of pizza and alot of grapes. He went over to the fire and dumped his plateful of grapes and a slice of pizza into the brazier and sat down by Clair. "You looked even cuter when you got flustered." He told her, he was teasing her a little but not much.

Once again Claire flushed a lovely pink, shaking her head and causing blond strands to fall into her face and block stormy blue orbs. The candyfloss strands did little, however, to cover up the crimson hue of her already naturally rosy cheeks."No, I can't look cute!" She countered in embarrassment, hiding behind her sandwich in an attempt to hide her flushed cheeks. She really didn't take complements all too well, thus the modest nature she held.

The color of the pale skinned girl flushed further, but this time she was too embarrassed to even act modest. Dipping her head lightly Claire smiled lightly simply submitting to his words. She didn't agree or counter them, instead she nibbled on her sandwich similarly to a mouse. "Danke..." She murmured at last, softly thanking the other in German.

"I have no idea what you mean but that sounded really neat." Romanus smiled then finnaly took a dare,. "Hey, you wanna hang out sometime, like as a date?"He asked her softly and reached for her hand, but couldn't find ot. He was blushing a little, but not nearly as much as her.

Claire laughed softly as he commented on her German. She forced her blush down and smiled faintly once again, "It means 'thank you'... Or rather just 'thanks'," she explained softly a kind teaching tone in her voice. It didn't really bother her when people didn't know what she was saying. It was mostly her fault for speaking in a language the other didn't know. At Romanus' next works, Claire blinked lightly, "Eh?"[ she managed at first, once again blushing at his words. A date? Now, Claire certainly knew nothing about dates or social situations but she definitely knew at least a few things dates were connected to. "Well..." She started off softly, "I've never been on a date before but... I wouldn't-" She stopped herself, unsure of how to phrase what she wanted to say. Eventually she gave in and hid behind eating her sandwich once again, "Sure," she replied meekly.

"Well, what should we do?'He asked her. the last thing he wanted to do was skrew up his chances by making a rash decishion. "Well, I mean were kinda sorta on one now."He said to her fortly and went back to eating his pizza.

Ah, there he went asking her a question she didn't know the answer to. "Um..." Claire murmured softly, furrowing her brows in thought. She truly had no idea. What did one do on a date anyway? Hades if she knew. At last the blond laughed sheepishly, "I don't know... Sorry. As I said, sorta new to the idea."

Claire blinked in confusion as her hand was taken, not sure what he meant. Nonetheless she nodded. "Ahhh, sure.." Claire replied, confusion etched in her soft tone. She really had no idea what was going on or how to deal with it. Curse her lack or social capabilities.

Romanus smilled and continued to hold her hand then began to explain. "Well, when a guy likes a girl he ask her out on a dat, then if it goes well he starts holding her hand, and if the date is amazing tey kiss." Romanus explained. Then he noticed how oposite he and clair were when it came to this, she was shy and reserved and he was outspoken and blunt, luckly he felt like the differences made them better for eachother.
