Hola! I'm new to this guild smile ! I'm in espanol tres at my school. And I would like the opportunity to practice and get help, all in all improve with my spanish smile And of course meet some new friends along the way smile
I'm not sure how to start this x)

Yo quiero ayudar y practicar tambien! : D This is what you should've said: Muchas gracias (Thanks very much[I think that's what you were trying to say]). Me llamo Sacerdotisa del Cielo (I call myself Priestess of the sky[you combine de y el as del])! Or you can say "Soy Sacerdotisa del Cielo," or "Mi nombre es Sacerdotisa del Cielo." At least I think so. I've never heard any one use "Me llamo es." and then "de la semana." No soy fluido con mi espanol, pero quiero mejorar. C:

Gracias! Well I thought Mucho gusto meant nice to meet you, at least thats what my teacher told me. And the de+el DUH I don't know how I forgot that. Pero gracias smile

Jaja sí, si quieres decir algo como "es un placer" también puedes decir "mucho gusto." Y sí, nunca puedes decir "me llamo es." Llamar es un verbo y no se puede usar como sustantivo. Y no necesitas decir "fin de la semana," solo "fin de semana." No estoy seguro por qué, pero creo que es así.
Yo acabo de terminar español 4AP, y yo también quiero practicar mi español.

All teachers are different though. Maybe you're confusing the two? Because there's literally no way that's right. The verb llamarse means to call oneself. So, me llamo means I call myself. If you put es after there, in the first place, you have two conjugated verbs next to each other, which really doesn't work except in certain situations. Secondly, the would translate to: I call myself is... Which doesn't make sense. So either you confused them which is a much smaller mistake than the other alternative, which is that the teacher was teaching wrong. So for your teacher's sake (and all of his/her students), I sort of hope, and not in a mean way, that it was just a simple misunderstanding. You know what I mean, though?

Hola. Lo siento, no he tenido tiempo para la computadora últimamente.
Hopefully that whole with how to introduce yourself was a mix-up. Which it could have been, because one of my friends in my Spanish 4 class (she was a junior, and has been taking spanish since 7th grade) wrote "Me llamo es..." in one of our skits.
