I think I like being able to capture life and emotion in an instant. Every photo tells a story, you just have to know where to look to find it. I love being able to capture that, even just a spit second of it. Sometimes there are things that you capture in a photograph that you would completely miss otherwise. I like the after image of flapping wings, the twinkle in someones eye when they smile, the nostalgia of looking out over a peaceful lake, the way the trees look against a blue sky in the winter, the pain/hurt someone is feeling, etc. It's really just an emotional type connection, I suppose. If there is no emotion put into it, you will get no emotion from it. The passion for the art/subject is where my heart lies. It's just one of those things that you have to experience for yourself to truly understand. =)
