Here we have Candy Regret- a handsome young wolf with beautiful rainbow demon wings. Regret is not what you would call a demon, however. His uncle, Whispers of Terror, now he is a demon, and his wings are feathery and white. Regret comes from a large family populated by lots of wolves that could be considered evil, but he takes after his father more than his bitchy mother, at least that is what he believes.
He lives with his father, Unintentional, who takes care to introduce him to wolves and experiences outside his own disturbed family. That is how he came to know the young female he is going to see today. Her parents and his father were hoping they might male a good couple one day, when she was older. Their plot is supposed to be a secret. It is not.
Regret skirts the edge of Anilise and Conri's territory. He is welcome here, but it still always makes him nervous to enter into a pack's area. Unintentional is a lone wolf, or he was before he had pups to look after. Anyway, this means that Regret has no pack to back him up if he accidentally finds himself an unwelcome guest in another territory, so it is deeply ingrained in him to heed the scent marks when he is out on his own.

Cami had butterflies in her belly. She was planning to sneak out to see her friend today. Regret and her had been introduced by their parents, but she didn't want to give her parents the satisfaction of knowing they had actually managed to choose a suitable male to her liking for her.
Regret was a bit older than her, so she always felt safe when she was with him. Upon their first meeting, she had been intimidated by his initial appearance, but even so, found him rather appealing. Her parents seemed to trust him and his father enough, so she started spending time with him, sneaking off whenever she was able.
She paced anxiously around the den. She knew Regret should be on his way soon, so she was waiting around til she was to leave. "What's wrong, sis?" Caden nudged his sister. He always knew when something was up with her. On more than one occasion, he had covered for Cami while she was on her "outings" She sighed and stared towards the cave opening. "Oh, you know...the usual afternoon stroll," she smiled slightly. "I...I'm going to go now, Cade. See ya later." Her tailed wagged back and forth gently as she strolled outside.

He is well into their territory now, coming close to Anilise and Conri's den. He wishes the alphas were aware of his presence, he dislikes the sneaking around. But Cami was determined- her parents weren't to see them together. He growls to himself, a hint of a bad mood surfacing.
He knew of the alphas' plan with his father, yes, and he played along well enough. He had no doubt that the alphas knew he was there, and who he was with. He made no attempt to hide his visits from his father either, and his father asked no questions when he returned.
He did not intend to see the adults' wishes through to the end, however. He liked the girl well enough, but he didn't think they would become mates. He had heard that mates only had eyes for one another, their hearts melted at the sight of one another. He doubted he'd feel that way about anyone, and he certainly didn't about her.
He hears pawpadding coming closer, and his head jerks toward the sound, and catches sight of Cami. He shakes away the bad mood and grins at her.
He saw no reason to disrupt the adults' scheming. He did adore Cami, just not in the way they had hoped. He wanted to protect the pup, but he didn't... He didn't want to think about it.
