Chapter 1 The beginning


This story begins in a small town called Hawast, in the lands of Buhall. Luna and Daisuke where walking to school like always, but today they left a bit too early. Luna was a normal girl from what she can tell. She was 5’1 and has long brown and orange hair that flowed down to her thighs like a waterfall. She had very different eyes then most people, the ring around her eye was this very bright magenta and the inside of her eyes was a nice clear sky blue. She had a nice tan from working on the farm all day during the summer and weekends. She wore jeans and a light blue blouse with her normal runners. Daisuke was her best friend the moment that their parents welcomed Luna’s family to Hawast. Daisuke is 5’5 and has nice blond hair that stands up so perfectly that it looks like perfect icicles. He has nice bright blue eyes and is very pale compared to Luna. Daisuke wore his favourite pair of jeans and a nice t-shirt that had a print of a guy about to kick a soccer ball and his one-of-a-kind runners.

As they both arrived to school, Daisuke stopped Luna before they walked in. “I over herd your parents Luna,” said Daisuke in a soft voice with a hint of sadness in it. “Oh, so I guess you know then don’t you Dai,” Luna said with a sad tone of voice. “So what were you planning on doing? Leaving without ever telling me?!?!” asked Dai loudly. “I was going to tell you… I just didn’t know when!” “Well that’s very helpful isn’t!” “Do not yell at me Dai!” “Why should I listen to you?” “Fine don’t,” said Luna as she walked into the school. Dai walked in after her. As the day went by Luna didn’t talk to Daisuke no madder what he said. Luna left before him to go home. Daisuke was very surprised. This was their first fight since forever.

When Daisuke arrived home he went straight to his room and looked at it for a few minutes. He looked at the wall that had all the pictures of him and Luna on it. He went to bed without a word that night and with tears in his eyes. The last picture he had looked at was the first day they had met.

When Luna was done supper she started to pack. When her mom came up to her room Luna didn’t look up. “Bunny what’s wrong?” “Nothing mom just can’t believe I’m leaving in two days.” “Well don’t forget to pact everything or else you might need it and not have it.” “Okay mom, I know.” “Well good night my dear.” Before Luna’s mom left she hugged Luna and kissed her on the forehead. When she left Luna continued to pack her things. Tomorrow would be Saturday and then one more day to be here.

The next day came very quickly than normal. Luna was outside doing her normal early run when she passed by the meadow like she always did, she saw someone lying on the hill looking up at the sky. “Hello, are you okay?” When the man looked up it was Daisuke. Her eyes went wide and she blushed lightly. Daisuke was wearing a tight sky blue shirt that matched her eyes, nice lose shorts and his favourite running shoes.

When her head cleared she realized that he was rubbing his eyes. Did I wake him up? She wasn’t too sure if she did or not. “Good morning Luna,” he said with a sweet smile on his face. He got up and started to walk towards her. Her heart started to beat quickly. What’s wrong with me today? It’s just Daisuke. When he was in front of her he hugged her tightly so that she couldn’t get away. Has he always been this strong? “I’m sorry I yelled at you yesterday Luna.” He was playing with her hair now still hugging her tightly. Daisuke started to release her, but when she was about to back up he picked her up. W-what is he doing?? Her heart was pounding and she blushed a bit darker then she wanted to. “Oh is that Luna blushing??” Daisuke said in a teasing voice. “Shut up!” she said looking away and crossing her arms. “Aw but it’s so cute!” Luna’s eyes went wide and turned her head to look at him. The moment she was done turning her head Daisuke leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

That night Luna went to bed wondering what had happened that day. She was thinking if there were any signs of Daisuke liking her before that morning. That morning was the start of something new. Sunday went by very quickly. They spent the full day together. That night they kissed each other good night and good bye. They would try and keep in touch so that they would stay close friends. The next day would be here soon.
