In a system known as Altus Termina on a far side of what is today the Imperium of man. It sustains three livable planets each with very different environments. Vericas- the plains world and farming center of the system also holds the largest citys. Silvas- The Forest world that has almost three times been classified a death world. Templos- the desert world with the hidden fortress of the Imperial Guard. but this system is part of a large galaxy wrapped in turmoil. This system even had rough beginnings from the days of heretics as it was one of the last holdouts of the Alpha Legion before they fled to the eye of terror. After it was re-colonised by the Imperium it enjoyed a long period of peace time but that is now fading.
Prologue:
12 years before the start of the main story...
The system of Altus Termina is under the rule of a dictator known as Governor General Fabulo Timio. The imperium allows him to rule so love as the planetary tithes continue. Yet for all of his power he is a coward and when orcs invade the system he does nothing but hide in his manor on Vericas. It is only after the orcs have become entrenched on Silvas and a Verican 3rd regiment volunteers to relieve the besieged guardsmen forces there that any action happens. At special request a young 16 year old noble named Marcus Maximilian Stein is given the rank of captain and granted personal command over the 3rd regiments 7th column. Despite his young age the captain is bright, clever and charismatic making him stand out even among other noble of the system. Using the captain as a poster boy the Governor seeks to regain his popularity and control of the system. So the preparation for retaking Silvas began...
