Day's already more than half over, don't think the end is comin.
Frankly I'm going a little crazy about this whole end of the world buisness. I mean great day in the morning, what is with people, they just keep it coming, don't they? It's just people's crazy need to control things. So what if the world does end today? Would knowing that fact change anything? It's not something you can stop. And let's say you get whipped into this frenzy and believe that it's ending, you quit your job, act stupid; it won't matter, world gonna be gone tommorow, right? NO, world still here, spinnin round, and you are SOL! Live life the best you know how, and then if it does end, well it won't be so bad.

But now they are all, "OHNOOOOSS! 2012 is evil and the world will end in fire and ice..." blah blah blah because of the myans. I'll admit that the myan calander has been right about some things, but even a wrong clock is right twice a day.

I still believe it will end in 2012. I have Mayan Ancestry on my dad's side of the family. biggrin but my hubby brought up a good point to me the other day. What if the Mayans weren't finished with their calendar when they "disappeared" .

and that's part of my whole point on the matter, people don't know if they were finished when they left their cities, so people could have the whole story wrong, and be freaking out over nothing at all.

From what I understand, there was no speculation of 2012 being the 'end of the world' in the very first place, rather the Mayans were making Cosmic calenders and their latest one ended on approximately Decmber 2012, however the end of a Cosmic Year is the beginning of a new one, and that it will be the end of the "world" as we know it. This is probably indicative of energetic changes, spiritual changes, cosmic changes (right around this time, the sun has decided to act up, but very recently it has been speculated it will soon go into a stasis mode, so this would be around 2012 that this change would occur), there is speculation of a World Order being formed, legislation of an American Union with Canada and Mexico, around this time period. So it seems to me humans are in fact connected to the magnetic web of Earth, and when that web changes so will the attitude and overall temperament will change. It seems that leading up to this time period, we have also been collectively, unconsciously been led to being more Earth-oriented, both by the current political scares of the Green Party and people in general are "preparing" for some reason, more and more becoming aware of self-sustainable values. So in my estimation, the Mayans were correct that AROUND the time of the end of the cosmic year there will be great change, which is being experienced on a solar, planetary and human level.
I question the rationality of those who automatically, fearfully believe this means we will all die and that it means the end of Earth or human life. Though anything is possible, so I will not dismiss that possibility, as all things created will eventually fade.

I agree, I never believed life would end but that it would change. When there is supposed to be a new beginning, there has to be an end first.
