So yeah,me and the staff -mostly myself- were planning on a real event that we absolutely need in order to kick up this guild and start doing real things. I have already gone over avatar art contests,fanart,the manga project,updating the Handbook,and so on.
The only way i'll be able to do these things is if I get a go signal for something particular you want. So,that beings said,what do you want,FMG?
I'm all ears.
If it comes to the point,I may decide to do more than one event,so please give me your feedback!

for the art contests, this is what we could do: you describe a character (hair color, size, clothes, clothes style, theme, etc) and then we all draw a picture based on that info, and then u pick the best. we could also do contests that hav to do with story too.

I haz an idea! : D How about a contest for the best manga story. People just explain their idea for a manga, plot and ecetera and their main characters (with pictures) and you can choose who has the best idea. >3<
There can be first place for most humorous, most shoujo-y, most epic or action-y or most creative and stuffs like that.
Unless you already did this before. ... sweatdrop lol

I like both ideas; I think if you had a contest as a kind of 'warm up' to ?advertise? the whole contest thing to get more members excited about more contests in the future. You know, if you do a small drawing contest soon-ish to show that ideas are being really thought about and set in stone, then they'd know that there's more likely to be one in the future. ........ Sorry if I overstepped the line and went off on a tangent... sweatdrop

I would like to see a story contest, personally. So what that might entail would be submitting at least a plot summary and then maybe a chapter's length of the story, or would that be too long? redface
Art-wise, maybe the winner of the story contest gets his/her story put out to artists to draw a few panels based on the sample given, and the one that the writer likes best is the winner, although that would involve some complicated communication between the admin's and the writers confused
Well, I just thought of these ideas off the top of my head, so there neutral
