Ferris Randall Following Gaston and Lulu's wedding, Ferris found Gwen and told her about the Oscar he could win. He pleaded with her to come back to their hometown to celebrate his future victory with him, and at least to come and visit their now aging parents. Gwen reluctantly agreed, and the two went back to the city and Ferris let his little sister stay on his leather couch in his old studio apartment. A few weeks went by, and Ferris and Gwen attended the Oscars, he took his leading lady as his date, and set his sister up with an old friend of his from film school and the assistant producer of his film.
Ferris took the upset and won an Oscar, Best Picture, though not Best Director like Ferris had thought he could pull off too. He was happy about that win and that night as they announced his film he kissed his leading lady, Kay Tinoor, on the lips in celebration. Surprisingly, she kissed him back, and the whole thing was caught on tape and shown publicly in homes across the nation. The two were later all over the gossip magazines and tabloids, and though they never officially dated, a year later Ferris proposed. The girl said yes, and the couple was married in a private ceremony in a small town in Europe. Ferris and his wife now stay in New York City in a large penthouse apartment. Ferris is still making films often with appearances from Kay, he thinks his next film will get him best director. He visits Sonata town once in a while to remark on it's small town beauty and charm, and to check up on his little sister, sometimes Kay comes along with him.
Kay-Tinoor Randall
Over the past two years, Kay has gone from leading lady to leading lady, marrying her director and friend, Ferris Randall. It was an unexpected romance and pairing, normally the director would not like a girl like her. She was a little selfish and vain, but Ferris would discover this was a prima-donna front she put on for the sake of being one. The girl is midwestern at heart, she is averagely smart, a little geeky, and outdoorsy. Ferris likes the change in lifestyle from public to private. The couple has no current plans for children.

Gwen Randall
Gwen took a break from Nirvani Island to accompany her brother at the Oscars. This month long trip turned into years, after Gwen was introduced to the extremely charming, James Sachs III, also known as "J.M" He was her "date" to the Oscars, and though he offended her the night of, his knack for brilliant apologies got him on her good side. A few months later, after a fight with Ferris, Gwen moved off of his couch, and before she could put rent down for a ratty New York apartment, J.M. invited her to live in his apartment.
She moved in with him, and they had an open relationship for a while. Gwen got a job as a waitress at a upscale restaurant, while J.M. continued to house her, not requesting rent. Soon however, without any fair warning of making their relationship more than a casual interaction, J.M. proposed. This shocked Gwen, and their engagement isn't really official, but they are pushing their relationship in that direction.
Gwen grew tired of the New York lifestyle, as much as she loved the big city, she missed the small town comfort of Nirvani. She missed knowing people's name's and her cute little house. She told J.M. she was leaving, and he told her he was going with her. After informing her brother of the move, the two left for Sonata Town.
James Sachs III
James Sachs III comes from a family of old money. He lives under his means, preferring the lifestyle of the middle class to the lap of luxury. Living in a gentrified part of New York, he schmoozes with the art world, using his sway to help promote and produce his friend, Ferris Randall's films. He takes a great interest in underground music, always looking for the right sound for his own amateur work in music video directing.
J.M. first saw Gwen when she walked into his college dorm room to see her brother off to school. He noticed her red hair, but she didn't notice him at all. When she came in town years later to attend the Oscars with her brother, J.M begged Ferris to set them up.
The night proved a fiasco, but J.M had a way to apologize. Putting his parents money into good use, he sent her flowers. A bouquet of flowers every day straight for one month. Gwen thought it was dramatic, but he still earned her praise.
The two dated and she moved in with him, and one day, though their relationship was never very official, he proposed, just to get it out of the way. She didn't say yes, and she didn't say no, so their engagement is on hold. The two moved to Nirvani after she said she was leaving on her own, J.M. considers this a pre-honeymoon. He feels the move is only temporary, because he prefers NY, and is sure the small town with only help to bring them closer together and get her to marry him.
