For those who are new to the game, this is how it works!
Each person will randomly be assigned a role:


As a GCDer you are a normal citizen of Gaia and ultimately you want to convince others of this so they don't send you to jail. Now every round GCDers must vote on the person who they think is the sniper and whichever player gets the most votes gets sent to jail and is OUT of the game. Notices will be posted in the thread topic telling you when you need to vote.


The Killer(s) get to PM me every round and tell me who they want to kill with their death note, and that person is eliminated from the game! The killer wants to appear innocent though, so he has to try and act like a normal citizen so that people don't suspect he's the sniper. If the killer is revealed and the GCDers vote him out then he gets sent to jail and the remaining GCDers win and split the prize money!


The detective(s) may choose to remain anonymous or expose themselves to the public. They are on the side of the GCD and are trying to identify the sniper. Each round they receive one clue about the sniper and can choose to keep it to themselves or to share it with everyone else. Be careful, if you reveal yourself as the Detective then the sniper may come after you!


This person chooses to put a veil of protection (EXCEPT ON THEMSELVES) at the beginning of each round. The veil of protection prevents them from being killed ONLY for that round. They can still be voted to jail, though.

So the game sounds pretty easy, no? Well the crazy part is how people conduct themselves. You can arouse suspicion, lie, cheat, form alliances, trick people, or do anything it takes to win! You can 'claim' to be anyone, even the sniper, and its up to other people whether or not they want to believe you or not! You can even form alliances to gang up on other people, even if you know they're not the sniper just so you win a bigger pot of money at the end! There's NO rules outside of each person's role-- Play to WIN!


***Winning Conditions***
1) Both Killers are voted out and sent to jail: All remaining GCDers split the prize money.
2) The death-note users kill everyone: The last killer keeps all of the money!

Before you sign up, please take note that you will need to be online on Gaia at least once everyday or else you will be disqualified from participating.

Why you want to participate: I am addicted to the game now, and also, I would like to try to win one.

How often/how long do you check Gaia: Not as much as I used to, namely I check at night and sporadicly throughout the day, usually up until 3 AM EST, unless I work in the morning. Mostly though I am on constantly when not at work.

Why you want to participate: For the fun of it, getting to know people has been fun these last few games and I hope to get to know more people, and maybe to add to my list of books and comics to red from them ^_^
If ever, which role would you like to have? Why?: Killer or Detective, I've been a killer before but it was my first game, while I managed to stay hidden UI didn't do a bunch of things that I wish I could have. Detective as its the only thing I HAVEN'T been, sniper game 3, GCD game 4, and Angel game 5 ^_^ Huh just noticed that I have been something different each time. But really I just want to play and have some fun so whatever role is good for me ^_^

Why you want to participate: I like the people I meet in these games.
If ever, which role would you like to have? Why?: I would like to be a sniper or a detective. Being the detective I could know that I had true clues and try to solve them; being a sniper would be a totally different experience than any other before and I'd like to NOT be one of the people getting picked off.

If ever, which role would you like to have? Why?: Sniper, I guess. but EVERYONE wants to be a sniper, so yeah, seriously, anything. Even the angel would be good for me ninja

Why you want to participate: I did good last game, but I plan to win this game. I picked up a few tricks before I got booted. Last time I got upset, but I think that was just because I'm new to this. I'm completely mentally prepared for anything this contest can throw at me.
If ever, which role would you like to have? Why?: Detective because I'm a big L fan and it has almost the same mystique as a Sniper.
