What are lyrics? The lines your favorite bands voice out in amazing tunes. But before that they were simple words on a piece of paper, written by people just like you and me. In a way, lyrics are poetry, but they're meant to be heard as song. Yes, poetry can be sung as well (sonnets for example are sung), poetry can even be turned into lyrics.

This sub-forum is specifically for lyrics - or rather a group of verses with a chorus line and maybe even a bridge placed carefully in there as well.
