The sun slowly rises as a black figure is slowly moving to the gate from outside. His body is bent over as he looks like he's limping.

Sitting against the fencing of the front gate, Shina kept looking back and forth from her feet to the gate itself contemplating whether or not she should just leave. Not like she had any meaning here, just another "kid". With a sigh, she pushed herself on her feet and placed her hands on the back of her head as she stared right back at her surroundings that seemed so peaceful.
Almost taking a step she heard feet shuffling from the gate and she looked back to see a young man bent over. She walked over to him and kneeled at his feet to try and see his face. "Hey," she said lightly, almost in a dry tone - a tone she was used to using. "Are you okay? Do you need help somewhere?"

Cory quickly fell to one knee, as blood dripped from his face, but hair was covering her vision from his face. "If you wouldn't mind." He softly smiled, as his body was still completely torn. "The hospital would be .... nice." As the last word came from his mouth, his body collapsed as he fell toward the ground.

Shina's eyes widened a bit as he went to one knee and tried to help prop him up by his shoulders. She finally got a good look of him at how torn up and bloody he was. What the hell happened to this kid? she thought lightly to herself just before he spoke. At the last murmur of his words she felt him collapsing to the ground and turned herself to catch him. She half held him in her arms as Shina actually started to worry for this stranger's well being.
“Well, can't just leave him here,” she said to herself and tried to work with his weight and get on her feet. It was a little harder than she thought until she finally managed some sort of control and did as the male said. It took a bit longer than she thought to get to the hospital, but she managed. When the attendants saw the bloody boy in Shina's arms, they rushed to her asking what had happened. The only answer she had for them was, “I don't know.”

The attendants came by and took care of the boy. Two Chunnin's came by and saw the boy. "You think he could of handle'd that more easily, I'm surprised he's alive." The Chunnin payed his respects to the unconscious boy, hoping for him to recover safely. He left the room as the attendants did as-well. Cory's body was almost completely covered in medical tape, as multiple I.V's were hooked up to the young boy.

Shina was a bit off guard wondering what the Chunnin's had said, but she decided to wait and see if the mysterious guy would be okay. He looked really torn up and she kept wondering what he was doing to get himself hurt so bad. Never mind that, how did he manage to get to the gate? Thoughts came and went from her head. Some nurses came to her asking if she wanted to go home and they would inform her, but she declined. It took her a while to notice that she had been there for quite some time. All of it was spent with her thinking – not pacing, or worrying, or being irrational – while sitting still in a chair.
Wasn't long till they told her that her “friend” was okay and he was allowed visitors, even though he may be asleep. Shina wasn't sure if she should tell them that she wasn't a friend, but she did want to know. All she did was nod and followed an attendant to the room. She left Shina in front of the door to go to another patient. There, Shina contemplated again. Should she go in? Should she not? What if he went psycho wondering why was there a stranger in his room? She laughed at that thought and just went in seeing him covered in bandages and I. V.s.
He seemed calmed enough, it seemed when she only looked with her dark gray eyes, but not wanting to risk a torn stitch, or loose I. V., or something, she just sat at a chair across from his bed, unsure why she even came into the room anyway. The phrase 'curiosity killed the cat' echoed in her head. Who was the cat?

The boy coughed again as bits of blood flew up into the air. He slowly leaned his head forward, grunting in pain, as he spit the breathing tube to the side.. "I hate these stupid thing." He covered his face with his hand, as the bandages on his left arm were already soaked in blood. "What the hell happen." He slowly dropped his hands to his lap as his eyes slowly adjusted to the stranger in the room. "Well....strangers and in a hospital. This cant be good."

Shina sat calmly in the chair, letting time pass by. She saw a bird from the window, pecking lightly at the glass from time to time before it flew off. That was really the only interesting thing that happened, well, at least until the boy started coughing up blood. Her attention was solely on him as Shina sat with a blank expression. Her expression was the same when he looked right at her to make a comment and she smiled expressionless at his statement.
“I shouldn't really be considered a stranger considering I'm the one who helped you here, stitch,” Shina said in a tone matching her face, calling him a name that goes cooperatively from the nearly visible stitches she saw. “You should probably lay back down. From the look of all the blood on you, it seems to me you're still bleeding out and movement isn't really something you should use in your condition.”

Cory smiled looking at her. "Your new aren't you." He layed back down putting his hands behind his head. "Well I think it's only fair that I know the name of my helper." His attitude, even though he was in alot of pain, was playful as usual. He looked over at her. "So what's your name by the way. Where you from."

Shina crossed her arms as she noticed this guy's attitude. Kind of odd. He got hurt extremely bad, yet it seemed like this was nothing. What else had this guy gone through? She sighed lightly, unconsciously tilting her head slightly to the side, and look him straight in the eye. He was generally happy. Confirming that she closed her eyes for a few seconds opening them once again to answer his few questions in order.
“In a way I am new, the name is Shina, and I'm from some place,” she answered in one breath. She leaned forward, her elbows resting on her knees, and continued looking at this generally happy kid. “My turn. Who are you and how the hell did you get scrapped up so bad?” She gave a joyless smirk and added, “Just curious.”

Cory smiled as he slowly opened his eyes. "My name Is Cory Koshiomi, the royal son of the 5th Kazekage. And the reason for this....." His face turned to serious as the pictures of gruesome body began to fill his mind. "I am used as a weapon for the elders. My life is only ment for the greater of the village." He slowly looked around for his necklace. "I had an Akatsuki raid mission last night, although I was success, my body was destroyed, as you can see."

Shina sat there still as a statue as she listened to his explanation. She watched him as he turned into a solemn expression explaining details of his current stature. Even though it seemed someone can just up and lie to her face, Shina didn't see any reason to think this was any of those cases. The truth was in his tone and that's all she needed.
It didn't surprise her when he explained who his father was, but for some reason it did when she heard that name again. Akatsuki. Why was that suddenly familiar? Without giving it any thought, seeming it was most likely useless to her. She stretched her legs in front of her and sighed lightly. “Wow,” her voice low. She sat up straight and placed her hands behind her head. “I never knew that Corey could be a such a royal name.”

Cory smirked slightly. "Oh, well would you look at that, a joke coming from the fake smile that once covered your face." He smiled looking over at her. "So what is the real reason that you come to Konoha, judging by your attitude, you think your a high level ninja, but actual are very weak and just looking for something to do."

She rolled her eyes listening to this kid's rant about her. In her belief, it was useless to judge someone from what they see. What's the point of making accusations when you'll most likely end up wrong. He basically in the clear until he called her weak. Though that pulled a chord, she didn't show it. It was actually the first time Shina heard someone call her that. Other than someone in her past, but that was beside the point. Real weakness were her own emotions. Why she never showed them. Shina stayed calm through his words, but she began to wonder if her knew that she could make judgment too. Sure, she would most likely be wrong cause he doesn't know the guy, but at least he would get what he was giving her. But first, to prove him wrong as much as he can.
“Really?” she asked dully. “I think highly of myself? If I did you most likely would've lost blood, cause if I did think high and might of 'pretty little me' then I probably wouldn't of spent time dragging you here – by the way, I need to know if you have any kind of disease in your blood so I can know if I should burn my clothes or not.” She gestured to his dried blood all over the right side of her clothes from when she carried him. “You're right on one thing, that I am looking for something to do. I'm a traveler, rarely staying in one place from time to time. Why? Simple. Something to do. I'm not sure about my strength but I can honestly say that I have won more battles than lost. Unfortunately for the count, I tend to ignore things most of the time so I don't really get much enemies to fight.” Pointless to get into a battle that isn't yours. “I won't say that I'll win in a battle against you, but I'm not saying I'll lose either. Thing is I don't know because I don't know how you are in battle. Basically I don't know you at all.”
She gave a pause to allow him to process her words, if he was going to, then continued. “And speaking of strength. You say you work under your elders as a weapon. I get it, the whole 'Respect your elders' thing going on-” even though she never really had elders to respect “-but are you sure that they use you as a weapon? Cause from where I'm sitting, you look more like a chew toy to distract the hounds so the robbers can find the jewels. Just saying.” She finished without a huff and noticed that her own voice was almost monotone-ish because it had no emotion – if it did, it would be a little hint of annoyance. Again, only if – though it helped that she would slightly change the pitch, so she wouldn't sound so blah.

Cory began to laugh as looked over at her. "So even though you dont show it, I can see that emotion's get to you. So why dont you show them, sometimes its best to show them instead of hide your own. I learned that from my father." He reached his hand out and grabbed the sand village necklace on the table. "So....are you related to anyone popular, cause you seem like you would be related to Sai or something. " He smiled at his last comment.
