Dining HallMeals are eaten here at specific times. Each week, different teams take on the task of cooking and serving the others. As always, Kryos is given his meal first.

Bright ruby eyes took in the building as he had entered, but not really paying much attention, Hanu had slipped silently through the halls, until he saw the open door leading into the dining room. Bright eyes skimming it, it seemed empty, so he approached the nearest end table, pulling out the dark oak seat, with its red plush centre to sit on, and slumped down.
He had no idea who to speak to, as he had been practically chased out of the village by what he deemed to have been a mob. The fight hadn't even been his fault!. The boy was lucky though, at least he wasn't attached to anyone there.. Otherwise it would have been as painful as the day he moved out of his family home; parents also practically chasing him for starting... let us say.. another fire. That day had truly been hard.
The town mayor and other councilmen had managed to speak with him before he was driven away, saying that they had sent his personal details over to the owner of this, establishment. And that if he trained here for long enough, and learnt some control, over his powers and his temper, then he would be allowed back. He personally hate the idea of some old rich git truffling through his details, not that they were interesting, it just freaked the boy out a little bit. " Che... "
He rolled his tongue with a click to make the sound, merely out of slight aggravation, of the whole thing. Reaching under the large panel of dark crimson armour, he pulled the toughened leather strap that wrapped around his chest to secure it there, once undone, he shifted the plate and placed it on the ground, sound echoing through the halls as it bit into the tiled floor. He wasn't bothered with the others, leaving them on round his wrists and thighs as they weren't nearly as heavy and their weight distributed more evenly.
Running a hand through his hair, he dragged a few tangled locks out to their length, letting the strands of chocolate coloured hair fall back, soft spikes that settled round his head, framing his pale face.

The latest batch of trainees were a hassle and the leader of Team 1 had little patience for the weaklings that had been put in his charge. Said captain, Rorcinka, had had enough for the day and was getting hungry. While the school was on a set feasting schedule, he knew he had special privileges and could go into the kitchen and demand whatever he wanted. The silver-haired man pressed open the doors to the dining hall to make his way for the chefs' abode but was caught short by a form already in residence of the room. Pausing just inside the door, he fixed the brunette interloper with a hard, curious stare. Once the door had clacked shut behind him, he finally spoke. "Who the ******** are you?"

Hanu had been happily off in his own little world, when the shutting of the doors created the sound that begrudgingly pulled him from his own little world. Jolting at the noise, his eyes flew up to meet that of a hard stare aimed right back at him. Sure he would have shivered at such a hard stare, possibly even avoided it at one point, but right now it was thrown right at him. And the little idiot said the first thing that came to mind, something he said just by habit, when he wanted to be left alone; " ..******** off. "
Now, after a second thought, one which his tongue clearly couldn't hold out for, the boy would have registered the other male's stance, one of clear authority.. not that he'd ever done well with that, another reason why he was here.. And also, the height, that towered over his, sure he wasn't incredibly short, but neither was the older male over the other side of the room. Another thing he should have taken into account was build, this man out muscled him by far, and yet he'd still said that?! And another thing, he was currently without armour, which sat beside him. Now had Hanu thought of any of these, he might not be in such a predicament.

Rorcinka raised a brow at the reply he received. Sure, his question hadn't been very polite, but he wasn't used to getting an equally foul sentiment in response. While subordination usually boiled his blood, Ro was actually pleased this time, not that a new comer would have been able to tell. The tiger's steely grey eyes remained firm but that was all. His former students and other staff would have been amazed that he didn't have the boy by the throat. Thanks to having just come from dealing with the same spineless bastards of the last few months, encountering a possible student with some balls gave the instructor a bit of hope. Ro would be a dead man before he let a student tell him what to do, though, and stepped up to the table. He hooked his thumbs in his belt and repeated his question, emphasizing each word with a small pause in between. "Who the ******** are you?"

Hanu clenched his fists at his sides, standing up from his seat, only for their general differences to become more apparent, but he wasn't about to let some tall a*****e be the cherry on the top of the cake that was his miserable day. Light crimson eyes clashed with steely silver as he glared back as the man approached, rolling his tongue with a click rather impatiently. The authority tumbled from his aura and swamped over Hanu, not that he let it affect him. He stood still, silently for a long while, deciding on whether to answer him. He was still trying to just calm himself down, knowing that uncontrolled fire wasn't the best first impression, besides he was used to hostility.
" I'm.. a new recruit here.. But seeing as this dumb a** place doesn't even have anywhere to sign in I'm stuck with wandering around. "
He really needed to hold his tongue before speaking, he just couldn't stop the end half of what he said, from tumbling out in an agitated tone. He couldn't take out the challenging undercurrent in his voice, he ran a hand quickly through dark chocolate locks, pushing them from his left eye so that they didn't impair his vision.

[[Plot!]]
Hm... noted. Rorcinka nodded and glanced about the table and the bag for a sign of the boy's entrance papers. Somewhere on them would have been the recruit's location assignment, but it wouldn't be the first time a newbie lost his papers or their idiot secretary forgot to send them. "Hn... hungry?" The leader's own collapsing stomach begged for food, and while he wanted to have more fun with the youngling, he wasn't about to deny his instincts to eat. Ro was about to brush passed the new comer when he suddenly paused mid-step. There was a certain energy approaching the fort he recognized and another not far behind that made his already empty stomach churn yet still made the corners of his mouth twinge again in the threat of a smile. "Ha... maybe you'd like a glimpse of my training's results instead? Come." The tiger spun on his heel and made back for the door.
Ro didn't pay much attention if his newest trainee was following as he made his way out into the lawn. Several hundred yards away, the gates stood open and in cantered a black maned stallion. The brown beast didn't slow until nearly reaching the pair and as it trotted to a halt, it changed into a young man. He was bare chested but loose pants hung from his hips and his dark hair veiled most of his face. He was breathing heavily as he brought his feet together and crossed his right forearm over his chest and bowed. "Master Merdani." The tiger pressed his lips into a thin line as his eyes narrowed. "You sound hideous, Aleksander. What the ******** happened to you? That hair..." Rorcinka strutted forward. "Kneel." Without a moment's hesitation, Alek's dropped to his knees and folded his arms behind his back. Ro reached out and took a fistful of the man's bangs and wrenched back, revealing the discolored eye the horse bore. "The ******** is this?" The trainer poked indiscriminately around the blind eye causing its owner to flinch each time.
Focus was taken away as the second energy finally arrived. Leaping clear over the grand wall was a black and purple wolf. However, before all four massive paws could reach the grass as shriek came from the sky and a roc shot down from the clouds, both feet slamming into the beast and bearing it to the ground. A voice bellowed from the great bird as he pinned the lycan. "Ah, Rorcinka, you found my new little fire bender. Wonderful." With a smile in its eyes. the bird pecked at the struggling wolf's ear tearing off a sizable chunk with its razor-like beak that made the creature yelp in pain. The roc let the flap of skin fall from it's mouth and laughed. "And of course, good to see you Kassadin. I had no idea your new form was so big!"
That idiot. Aleks closed his eyes as he heard his friend cry out. The b*****d shouldn't have followed him here. There's a reason Kassadin was rejected from the Estate many years ago; he was terrible at taking direction and strong-willed miscreants were favorites of the Lord and generals. They tried so hard to break him but in the end, Kass spit in their faces and was expelled. Showing his face here again was just an invitation for them to try again and with the introduction of Thrice, the sky demon was not the cocky a*****e he used to be. Aleks wasn't sure he could bear the idea of his friend torn down like that... not matter how much he hated him.
With the appearance of the great predator, Ro released the prince's locks and bowed similarly as the horse had to the raptor. "Lord Kryos. I did, indeed, stumble across our newest entrant." The team leader straightened and propped his hands on his hips as he watched the vain struggle in the distance. Kass was trying to find purchase against the ground to get away but to no avail. The gardener would have his work cut out for him for the next week, though. It only took a few more seconds for Kryos to grow bored of the fight and he leaned down again and scissored his beak over the wolf's muzzle, each edge biting deep into the skin across the sky-demon's nose and under his jaw. The whimper was much more subdued as he couldn't open his mouth that time and in admittance of defeat, Kass slowly began to change into his humanoid form. Following suit, Kryos also shifted back into his usual attire and quickly his layered robes and armor were in place.
Blood seeped from two gashes across Kassadin's nose and just beneath his eyes and from mirrored marks hidden under his chin as Kryos took him by the arm and marched him toward the waiting trio. Rorcinka hefted Aleks up as well. The prince had forgotten the oppressive aura Kryos emitted and with each step closer, he was more and more engulfed by it. Tilting his head slightly so the hair fell from his good eye, Aleks got his first real glance at the boy Ro had brought with him. The brunette seemed unscathed, must be a new recruit. Hopefully not in the tiger's squad, though, but good things rarely ever happened here.
When Kryos and Kassadin finally reached the group, the two residents exchanged a smirk. "Trade'ja." "Trade'ja." Their synchronous speech only made Kryos grin as he shoved Kass toward the tiger and slipped his arm through Aleks'. "I trust you both will take good care of our new member. Yes?" With that, he began to lead Aleks off. The prince spared one glance back at Kassadin who had his own gaze fixed on the horse. The lycan's eyes were gleaming despite the crimson that dripped from his face and a smile curved his lips. "You can speak," he whispered. Kassadin's joy in spite of his circumstance just because he had heard a single word from the prince made Aleks die a bit inside. The shirtless man tore his gaze away, offering the smallest of smiles just before doing so and then disappeared inside with Kryos.
The retreat of the Lord of the Estate allowed Rorcinka to focus back on his two charges, and for his charges to focus on each other. Before Ro could force introductions, Kassadin's dirty hand had already shot out in a gesture of greeting toward the recruit. "How's it goin', mate? The names Kassadin." Rorcinka grit his teeth as he supported part of the wolf's weight, his hand tightening around the raven-haired man's arm in doing so. Kass hadn't even considered the image he painted by grinning at the brunette while sporting such injuries.

Eyes studying the tiger like man, as he moved forward in a graceful manor; he had an almost prowess like stance to his movements; as if taking his time leisurely, knowing that one could pounce any minute... It pissed Hanu off; as he spent his life wary, suspicious and on edge. To see someone this relaxed just wound him up; his fingers itching for his blade as he felt that same temper as before rising within him. He'd also opened his mouth to respond to the questioning comment on his level of hunger, probably to come back with some shitty smart allec remark.
But at the other male's sudden halt, he was thrown off, and stared blankly, in confusion at the twitch of the mouth on Rocinka. "Training results..?" It was a quiet murmur, more of a thought out loud to himself as he had spoken. Jumping slightly as the large muscular figure had suddenly left, as quickly and quietly as he had appeared; the boy stood there in the dining hall, a little bewildered. But compelled to follow, as he knew he needed to get the whole 'new member' situation talked threw. And as much as he like his peace and quiet in the solidarity of the empty dining hall; this came first.
Having been hesitant, he left his larger piece of armour, and followed, clad in his skin tight black high neck shirt, sleeves, that had a strange gauze like material over the shoulders and a strip down each side; for rougher landings really. His belt with the twin blades' sheaths, was still criss crossed over his hips, black boots laced up too, that were evident in the sound they made, echoing in the hall as he quickly caught up with the man in front, whose long silver hair, was all he had to look at; it too pissed Hanu off.
As they exited the building, and the large horse approached; a sudden wave of anxiety hit the lithe male, as he knew he was without his larger piece of armour that covered his shoulder; the dark crimson stained metal plates still on thighs and wrists, and he had been quick enough to pick up his sword. After all the stranger had mentioned training arena or something akin to it, right?
The sudden shift before his eyes had him flinch back, staring in great confusion. Which was only added to, when the talking wolf bounded closer, and was soon held tight to the ground by the large bird of prey. Hanu watched the interaction between the next to silent man on the floor. He wasn't fond on him, merely because of his instant bow, and submissive behaviour; it made Hanu screw his nose up before sending the steal eyes man that had brought him out here, a filthy glare. He didn't like people who would force control, or even expect it from him; and he sidliked even more, those who would give it. But he didn't know their backgrounds, so stayed quiet for now.
As the lord of the estate marched off, arm securing his chosen captor for now, and the two entered the large manor's doors; his attention was brought back to the tall silver haired male, and the.. thing he'd just seen shift shapes. Hanu knew of such things sure, he'd read and heard about the creatures of this world, also knowing that these mansions often held such creatures within their walls. However seeing not one, but three shift for in front of him put him on edge; he felt out of place in most situations and areas, but right now, felt like he stuck out even more.
As the man's hand shot out, the rather dirty appendage a little too close for the boy's liking, he recoiled back, an almost instant reaction occurring as a venomous look crossed his face; bright amber/ruby eyes boring into that of the other. He was as always, suspicious. But brought up being considered the curse of the village.. It was understandable.
Hanu went for the usual, self-deemed 'safe' approach, and remained hostile. "We're not mates. I don't know any reason why we would be." His glance slipped between the two, expecting some form of retaliation, his hand inching closer to the twin blades that were strapped at his side, in the tight belt that hugged his thing hips.

Kassadin's grin subdued to a smirk when the recruit recoiled and dropped his hand in response. A shame the kid was so uptight, his life here was not going to be easy. After shifting his weight to try and alleviate some of the pressure on his bruised ribs, the lycan pursed his lips and shrugged in retaliation to the recruits statement. "I suppose you're right. Probably best I don't learn your name anyway, Lucky Seven. And I wouldn't start going for your blades after every move, if I were you." He winked and nodded toward the boy's hand creeping toward the hilt at his side. Aggression was good when asked for, but unprovoked around the dreaded captain of Team 1? Not the best of plans. As the wolf reached up to wipe some of the dripping blood from his chin, Rorcinka jerked. The leader kept his coy smile as he knew exactly what was to come for the pair. Kassadin had always been a pain in his a** since the first day they'd met and this new kid seemed just like a quieter version of him... Special training was in order. "C'mon." Ro began to tug the demon along and motioned to Hanu to follow. They'd need to make a quick pit-stop at the infirmary to patch up Kassadin's wounds, but then it was off to Ro's favorite place in the Estate. For the time being, the tiger was content to ignore the fire-wielder's little quirks - he'd iron those out soon enough.

Hand dropping from the hilt in agreement, that he didn't need to draw just yet. After all he didn't know the pair's weaknesses, sure the lycan was injured, so possible easy target.. But the other man seemed... A lot more sturdy. The boy mentally shook such thoughts from his head, why was he thinking of fighting? These people hadn't even attacked him yet. He guessed it was just in his way now, having put up with it from so many others; trust wasn't something that the fire bender did any more.
He still didn't like the smirk on one of their faces, nor the coy smile on the other's, keeping his glare hard, ruby orbs narrowed to watch the pair for any quick movement. Which happened to be them turning away from him. For now he knew he'd have to play along, as he didn't know where about on the manor he was headed, or what he was supposed to be doing here. After all, you need to learnt he rules before you can break them... Such a thought put a small smile on his lips, a memory of the first trouble he'd deliberately gotten in.
Following them inside though, it didn't take long for the smile to slip, as he had no clue where he was, he was getting easily irritated. "Where exactly are we going?" The abruptness in his voice made it clear that the solitude seeking boy really wasn't a people person. He got flustered in crowds, and rarely dealt with others.

Hanu's steps along the corridor were quiet, he wasn't one to drag his feet; but he was by no means, in a hurry. The teen had been 'summoned' to the Dining Hall, for whatever plausible reason. But after what he had just been made to witness, his temper was running thin. Sure he wasn't the soft sentimental type, but he saw no reason for him to have been in that room whilst that sadist 'played' with his 'toy'. And the comment on why the victim was treated so, Hanu couldn't fathom an understanding or explanation for.
Once outside the entrance, he pushed on the heavy oak door and entered the room was supposedly empty, and the teen felt relieved to be reunited with the large piece of shoulder armour he had previously left here. Sure it was heavy, but it was quite heat resistant for it's material and therefore precious to him. Along with the thigh and plate wrist coverings, Hanu wore quite a bit of protection; and it all sat on his slim build; not that he was bothered by that. Protection was protection at the end of the day.
Slumping down into the seat, he ran a hand through short auburn tresses to wipe any from his face. Why was he even here again?! He couldn't help but be suspicious of everyone and everything; his own family after all churned him out as soon as they could.
