Just post here if you'll be gone. You don't need to state why, personal reasons, holiday, can't be bothered with the internet. As long as you let us know and if you could give us how long you will ruffly be gone for. This is also so people you are roleplaying with - if you are involved in any at the time - can be aware how long they might have to wait for a reply. If you are participating in a group roleplay and will be gone longer than a week can you please make a post with a roleplaying goodbye. When you return, and if the roleplay is still going, feel free to roleplay yourself into it again. This way the roleplay can move on without having to wait for your reply.
