 I know its a small little guild, but it targets a specific group of people who love anything to do with phantoms or the Carnival of Vince. Its really a really interesting topic heart

Besides a fantastic (and overrated) opera, what do phantoms & carnivale have to do with one another?
{I have my own answer to this (and answer seeping with historical lore), but I'd like to start a conversation upon this, thus.. I await your reply}

Masks? European Background? Interesting costumes? Fancy language? I don't really know how to answer that. I just happened to be really good friends with the guild owner. Interesting guy to talk to c:

That's cool. Friendship rocks. However, I still feel phantoms don't quite match up. Ah, well. XD

iTimeVworp As far as the question goes, I wanted to incorporate the idea that Erik was heavily involved with travel, and thus the Italian culture (as is hinted in Susan Kay's novel 'Phantom'. And of course, what is Carnevale? It's a festival where everyone is masked, and remains in anonymity. Erik (The Phantom) is known best for wearing a mask. And so to me, the Carnevale would represent, in a sense, Erik's sort-of paradise, where he could go about without a second glance and be seen for once as 'normal' from a societal view. He's your answer Admiral smile
