Ok, so here's the deal-
Neither Kaida nor Akimitsu were meant to be anything other than occasional partners in crime.
But the joke's on them. After one prank gone wrong, they ended up with two special orbs.
Kaida, though dark, does have a maternal bone, so she has decided to raise one of the orbs herself. A perfect little minion. But Akimitsu wants nothing to do with any of them.
So that leaves one orb alone.
Kaida feels bad about it, so she looks around for the perfect home for her unwanted little one.
