Hikari shoved the door to the women's side open, heading down to the locker with her last name on it. "It's easy to get in. They should have on with your name on it, just find it and shove one of your tags into the slot here," she pointed on the door, then demonstrated, twisting it and lifting the latch, pulling the door open, waving her off to find her own locker.
She felt a slight vibration in her jaw, and reached up, pressing where her jaw and ear met. "Good morning, little brother. I need you to do some snooping for me."
"Aw, aren't you nice. Good to see you're out of trouble."
"I'm not out of the woods yet. I've got a shadow today, and a fresh new case. About a million things can go wrong and I need you to make sure that doesn't happen. Kay?
"Kay." There was a vague slurping of an empty glass with a straw. "So what am I looking for? Footage, paper trails, blood trails, porn trails?
"Xander..." Hikari warned. "I've already got the blood trail. A guy with a letter for a name shows up at our doorstep beaten to an inch of his life and genetically altered to where oxygen is poison. He said it was in the industrial area, and that there was a hole in a building, somewhere around the fifth floor. I'm guessing that's where he dropped out of.
"They don't let you ease back in, do they?" Xander sighed. "Alright, I'll start looking through last night's street cams, see what I can get into... There aren't a lot of buildings that can hide things like this, so it shouldn't be too hard. Just hope the big hole your vic blew was streetside...
"Thanks, bro."

Leara walked off catching the seemingly one sided conversation as she slipped her things into her own locker. If the lady hadn't used a name several times in the conversation Leara would have thought her crazy. As she shut her locker and headed back towards the captain she could feel her urge pulling ever so slightly. I wasn't enough to effect her, just remind her that it was there. "So where too first?"

"There was some activity last night in the Industrial Area, alright. Looks like the PKs were there for a bit, too. They loaded this poor sap into a medi-vac and hauled him off." He gave her the coordinates, which were in turn transferred to her glasses, as well as the clip of L falling from the building and being carted off, sped up.
Hikari took her handgun and an extra glowing tube of ammunition, holstering the both of them on her hip. "Xander, if Azrael was there, he should know more, right?"
"Sounds reasonable." Hikari nodded.
"Call me back if you find anything else. Try to find out when he was taken there in the first place."
"Will do. Xan out." Hikari reached up, and pressed the area between her jaw and ear again.
"Sorry about that. We'll need to talk to Commander Azrael, make sure that he even wants us to check this out first. Then, with his blessing, we'll head out to the Industrial Area and try to find out."

"I'm a bit in the dark as to what your talking about but I'll follow your lead." Leara smiled a bit the true beauty of her kin showing through. " If i can assist in any way let me know... I'd rather not just be following. Feels kind of pointless to me."

Hikari picked up the folder that contained all of the information Leara would need. "Some time last night, a man who's going by the name of "L" blasted through the wall of a warehouse in the Industrial Area. He fell about five stories where he was later picked up by medical personnel and taken into the medical bay." She let her leaf through the file as they walked, Hikari pulling her jacket on and tying her lavender hair back. "There was something a bit peculiar though... Though he appears otherwise completely human, he cannot breathe oxygen, and claims that the people who had him in that warehouse were responsible... And I'm assuming you know how the PKs feels about human testing of that sort."

Leara glanced over the pages in the folder quickly learning the situation. "So the man was thought to be human before..." She looked over a few of the photos. "This?" She picked one of the photos out to get a better look.

"From what I can tell, anyway. He looked and sounded normal, save for the mask." Satisfied with her uniform, she shut and locked her locker, returning her dog tags to her neck and tucking them into her tight red undershirt. "We should find the Commander, make sure he even wants us on this case before we proceed any further."

She placed everything back the way it had been when the folder had been handed to her and passed it back to Hikari. "I'm ready when you are." While She had non of her equipment handy it was all in transit to her. About a day behind it would be a while before she could do anything to drastic. Thankfully this task seemed anything but drastic at this point.

Hikari thought for a moment. "Maybe Azrael has returned to the Hall by now. Let's go ask again, and then we'll see where we're headed from there." She took the file and headed back for the exit.
